“Then let’s go with Boss Wushuang’s suggestion and increase our advertising effort. We will host some Camellia Tea Gathering and invite women from the upper circle and celebrities to try our products and help us spread the words.” The Head of Marketing, who had been put on the spot, was the first to offer up his ideas.
Having said that, both the heads of Sales and Strategy agreed with him.
Gu Wushuang nodded. “Okay, we will move forward with this strategy. Give me a detailed proposal and budget for me to review today.”
She knew nothing yet she insisted on meddling.
And, whenever she meddled, it was to go down the wrong path.
Almost everyone who had objected to her ideas had been replaced.
The remaining were mostly the ones who would brownnose and flatter those in power, aiming to milk it out to retirement in the company.
They would go along with whatever ideas that she may have......
“Meeting is adjourned then.
“Have Human Resource try to reach out to that artist again. Offer them double their compensation, okay?” said Gu Wushuang as she smiled nonchalantly at the head of Human Resource.
Everybody looked over at Manager Li.
Sure enough, Manager Li nodded, “Sure.”
It was quite obvious that Jiahe was already starting to go downhill.
Huo Wencheng had been helping Gu Wushuang with reviewing the reports but had since withdrawn after she had put together her own team of people.
He didn’t want them to have lovers’ quarrel over profits and issues of the company.
Even so, Huo Wencheng still somewhat felt that something wasn’t right from what Gu Wushuang had been telling him about Jiahe over the phone as of late.
“Shuang, Jiahe should focus on the low-end products right now. There is no rush going into high-end just yet.

Huo Wencheng couldn’t help but offer up his advice.
“We need to keep up with the times, Brother Cheng. There is nothing to worry about.”

She would normally listen to him.

“Let’s go shopping together this weekend and find a gift for Aunty. I think she was soften up her stance toward you.”
Gu Wushuang quickly change the subject.
Huo Wencheng knew that she would not listen to him no matter what he said so he quickly kept his mouth shut.
He didn’t know when it started but it seemed the two of them have been walking down two different paths.
It may look like they were walking side by side but the distance between them seemed to be widening.
“Alright.”
Huo Wencheng lowered his hand and gave his cellphone a spin.
It was time for him to go home.
The weather was warming up.
Gu Shishi, after the first month was finally over and was allowed to go home, stretched next to the window and took a deep breath of the fresh air.
“Oh wow. It felt like I had been drunk and dreaming for a long time. The days had been so comfortable that I am starting to question life.”
No wonder so many people get post-partum depression.
Over the last two months, all she had been doing was eating, sleeping, feeding the baby, and nothing else.
