She did not follow in and he did not call for her to come in. As if he had all the time in the world to waste, he just sat there, sipping his drink slowly.
Su Zhinian did not do anything else and still had not spoken a word, but Song Qingchun could feel the immense pressure emanating from him. It suffocated her heart, making it palpitate wildly. Her legs that stood at the threshold of the door were cemented to the spot and she found herself unable to move them. Every cell in her body cried for her to leave and run.
