Song Qingchun was surprised that Su Zhinian was already home when she stepped through the door. Even though they didn't share much of a conversation and Su Zhinian retreated to his study right after dinner, the sense of loneliness that had bothered Song Qingchun for the past two days didn't appear. After dinner, she lay in her bed and went through the drama updates she had missed over the past few days.
When she finished all the updates, it was already midnight. Song Qingchun went to use the bathroom, and as she moved to set the alarm for the next day, she noticed it was already March 4th.
March 10th… that was when her contract with him would end. In other words, she would only need to stay for another seven days in his bungalow.

Even though it was already the start of spring, the temperature at the middle of the night was still ridiculously low. Song Qingchun started shaking after standing there for a while. When she prepared to return to her room, suddenly she heard Su Zhinian's voice coming from the bedroom next door.
