The cold shower was not as effective as he thought. Su Zhinian lay beside Song Qingchun and had a hard time sleeping because, as the faint smell from her body drifted into his nose, he would wake up with desire once more.
In the end, Su Zhinian sat up in bed and pulled out his phone to distract himself. The weak light from the phone woke up Song Qingchun, who hadn't really drifted off to sleep.
Su Zhinian, who sensed the girl's movement, turned around to look at her. When he saw her open eyes, he immediately switched off his phone. "I'm sorry, did I wake you up?"
Song Qingchun shook her head. Su Zhinian leaned back into bed and pulled Song Qingchun into his embrace. The temperature of his body started to rise again.
"Su Zhinian… Can't…" Song Qingchun's reminder was lost on her lips because Su Zhinian had leaned in to swallow up her lips. His kiss was soft yet persistent as his hand started to wander all over her skin. The atmosphere in the room heated up again.
Song Qingchun evaded his lips in an attempt to stop him. "…We cannot do this in the first trimester…"
His lips followed the turn of her head to fall on her ear. He bit her earlobe and licked it with his tongue. Song Qingchun shivered, and the rest of the words stopped in her throat.
Su Zhinian's wandering hands moved to her waist until they found her hand. He held her hand as he moved it back to his flat stomach and later more downwards until her hand was close to his important part.
The temperature and warmth of her hand caused his whole body to shiver. His breath that fell on her ear became very uneven as he said pleadingly, "Tingting, can you please lend me a hand?"

He went into the bathroom to retrieve a towel to help Song Qingchun clean up. Then, he changed the bedsheets, and after snuggling Song Qingchun until the cover, he went back into the bathroom to take a warm shower.
When he came out, Song Qingchun seemed to be asleep already. Su Zhinian slunk towards the bed and crawled in as soft as he could. He reached out to hug her, and it was then that he realized she was still awake.
The night was quiet. After that intimate moment earlier, they felt closer to each other. Song Qingchun leaned against Su Zhinian's chest, listening to his powerful heart beating. Unable to fall asleep, she started chatting with him.
They chatted through the night until both of them drifted to sleep in each other's arms.
