"Then, shall we have something to eat first?" Qin Yinan suggested as he stood up to reach for the phone.
"It's okay, I have a meeting in the afternoon," Cheng Qingchong said as she glanced at the clock on the wall, she added, "I need to leave in twenty minutes."
Qin Yinan sat back down. He stared at Cheng Qingchong and said, "I'm really sorry for what happened last night."
Cheng Qingchong lowered her head wordlessly. Actually, the thing that happened last night wasn't his fault, was it? She was the perpetrator. She had practically thrown herself at him, so why was he apologizing?
Qin Yinan rubbed his hand before uttering with conviction and determination, "Don't worry, I will take responsibility."
