Chapter 13 Ashamed

Before going upstairs, he even turned around and said to the servant, "Please wash Miss Powell’s bed
sheet and her wet clothes."

"Okay, sir." The servant replied respectfully, watching him go upstairs.

Emma felt she would burst with anger and shame at the table.

How forgettable she was! She even forgot her last menstrual period.

The servant smiled at her and turned to the kitchen.

Emma was the only one left in the big dining room.

She covered her face, it was really embarrassing...

The phone was ringing on the table, and Joey's phone number was displayed on the screen.

Emma picked it up and talked on the phone, "Joey, don't get so agitated, that...the story is not what you
think..."

A deep red Cayenne parked outside the entrance of the villa.

When Joey saw Emma coming out, he pushed the car door open and walked down.

steering wheel.

Emma sat down next to Officer Brown with one leg crossed on the sofa, and took the phone from the
tea table.



Officer Brown looked at his granddaughter lovingly, the wrinkles on his face were all folded together in
relief.

Emma said hello on the phone.

When Simon's voice came through the phone, she immediately pulled a long face.

Officer Brown glanced at her and said seriously, "Be polite when talking to your father."

After speaking to her, Officer Brown got up from the sofa and walked towards Nunu who was biting the
slippers nearby.

"What's the matter?" Emma asked unceremoniously.

Simon was stunned by her attitude for a few seconds before saying, "you’ve been back for a few days,
why don’t you meet your grandparents?"

At first, Jessie lied that she was pregnant in order to marry her father.
