Chapter 28 It Hurts

Emma was hugged upstairs by Sean. She sat alone on the big bed in the guest bedroom on the
second floor.

Before Sean turned around and left the bedroom, suddenly, a black shadow jumped in and directly
rode Emma down on the big bed.

Nunu's huge head was against Emma's chin. The saliva on its tongue was all over Emma's body.

Emma winced and screamed, "It hurts. It hurts..."

Sean lifted Nunu from Emma's body by its neck.

The bandage on Emma's wrist was loosened by Nunu. Some blood was oozing out.

Sean frowned very tightly. He yelled at Nunu, "Nunu, go out!"

Emma guarded Nunu's enthusiastic offensive again. She watched Nunu drooping its tail and ran out of
the bedroom dejectedly all the way.

Emma's eyes widened in disbelief. When did Nunu listen to him like that? In a few days' time, Nunu
rebelled her again?

Sean took Nunu downstairs. After a while, Edward came up.

In the bedroom, Emma watched Edward professionally re-bandage her injured wrist. She couldn't help
but curiously asked, "Are you a doctor?"

Edward raised his head and took a look at Emma. He had to say that Emma was indeed so beautiful
that people couldn't move their eyes. He couldn't help but sighed, secretly feeling a little pity for Rachel.



"How old are you?" Edward asked nonchalantly.

Emma was taken aback for a moment, "In half a month, it will be my 20th birthday..."

Emma felt that Edward was not friendly.

Edward made tsk sound twice. Then he got up and tidied up his simple medicine box. He couldn't help
asking, "How long have you been with him?"

"Sean!"

month?

Emma didn't like to listen to these words, "Doctor, I don't get you. So you mean he is your type?"

Edward, who was under 30 years old, suddenly sank his face.

Emma was completely confused by this strange doctor, "You are really weird. Why do I want his
money? I have to give him money!"

Hearing that, Edward was completely shocked.

When Edward came downstairs carrying the medicine box, the look in his eyes changed.

However, Sean didn't notice Edward's eyes. He was holding coffee in his hand and looking down at the
obedient Nunu lying at his feet.

Edward handed the medicine box to the nanny beside him, washed his hands, and then sat on the sofa
on one side.

"How is it?" Sean asked without raising his head.

"Pretty, but too sharp." Edward made a concluding statement.

Sean raised his head and looked at Edward with a puzzled look, "I'm asking you, how is her injury..."

Edward was speechless.

At noon, Emma had a strange dream.

In the dream, she watched herself being pushed into the surgery ward by a group of British doctors and
nurses.

On the hospital bed, her face was so pale that she was almost transparent.

She was curious as to why she was looking at the operation from another perspective now.



In the same place, on a different operating table, another man was waiting for her liver.

She only knew that the man was very good-looking, with a long body, but she could not see his face
clearly.

The man had no pain. He was as quiet as falling asleep.

Emma walked towards him.

Soon, the man opened his eyes. He looked at her above his head, and said softly, "Come here, Emma,
come to me, come to me..."

The man suddenly changed to be Ivan. Emma rushed to hug him and wanted to cry anxiously.

But soon the scene was changed from the hospital to the rental house in the UK.

Everyone in the room went to the birthday party of the host's aunt, but she and Ivan were the only ones
left.

The chandelier in the room was on. The ambiguous and soft light spilled on the big pink bed behind
her.

Ivan hugged her and kissed her forehead.

His whole body was hot, as if the fever had not gone away, but his movements were gentle.

Emma wrapped her hand around his neck, feeling his kiss, indulging in it. She didn’t know whose name
she was whispering.

Ivan changed to the other guy in a blink of an eye.



This feeling made her lost. She lifted the man's face up and looked at him quietly.

The man's attractive facial features were slightly twisted, "Do you know who I am?"

"Sean..."

Emma was surprised at why she called his name. However, the person in front of her was just him!

His figure was very good, which made Emma's nerves tense.

They cooperated very tacitly and kissed together, but there was no awkwardness, as if all these
developments were so natural...

A hearty experience made Emma so thirsty, but she still hugged him tightly, unwilling to separate.

It wasn't until it felt like falling from the clouds that Emma woke up from her dream.

The afternoon sun came in. It was warm on the body. Emma sat up abruptly from the bed. A thin layer
of sweat came out on her body.

How could she have such a dream? !

Emma tiptoed downstairs. There was a person who was sitting alone on the sofa in the living room with
his back to her.

Standing on the stairs, Emma's heart pounded.

The dream just now appeared in her mind. Seeing Sean again, she felt nervous as if she had done a
bad thing.

Flora, the nanny, was walking past the stairs. She looked up and saw Emma standing still on the stairs,
then she hurriedly came up to help.



"Are you awake?" Flora asked softly.

"Flora, it's okay. I can walk by myself."

The person sitting in the living room heard the words and turned his head. Emma realized that the
person sitting on the sofa was not Sean at all, but Joey.

Joey got up, took Emma from Flora, and helped her walk into the living room.

On the coffee table in front of the sofa was piled up with medicine that Joey had brought from the
hospital.

Emma glanced down, then turned to look out of the French window.
