Chapter 52 I&##x27;m Not That Easy to Die

Emma was held in Sean's arms all the time. Joey ran over pantingly and anxiously said, "The treatment

wall. Then he opened the door and ran out.

Emma, who was on the hospital bed, had already pulled the quilt over her neck and covered half of her

eyes. She looked at her grandpa secretly from under the covers.

The door was pushed open from the outside. Someone was walking in.

Officer Brown thought it was Joey. He turned his back to the door, and didn't look back with a cold face.

okay?"

He looked at Emma's face and said, "You're not the same as your mother. She was so obedient..."

When Officer Brown mentioned Emma's mother, Emma's small face dropped and said nothing.



Officer Brown continued, "Even if you don't think about yourself, you should always think about me,
okay? I'm so old. If something happens to you, when I pass away, how can I explain to your mother?"

Emma knew that her grandpa was so sad. So she said, "Sorry, Grandpa, I know I was wrong..."

The attitude of admitting mistakes was good, which made Officer Brown feel a little more comfortable.
He stretched out his big palm and patted on the top of her head. Then he stood up and said, "Well,
since the doctor said that you are fine, just follow me back after finishing the intravenous drip. It’s New
Year's Eve today. How can we stay at the hospital?"
