Chapter 25 Why Are You Here

Joey took the signed receipt and went to the charging office on the first floor to go through the
discharge formalities.

Emma took off the hospital gown and put on a light blue long knitted pullover. She was sitting in a chair
and looking through news.

The door of the ward was opened. There were some footsteps.

Emma thought it was Joey, so she didn't look up, "The procedures are completed so soon?"
