Chapter 38 Kiss

She tried to push Sean away, but it didn't work. Sean stopped kissing her, but hugged her up and
pressed her directly on the big bed.

The slight rubbing sound of the quilt and clothing on the bed made Emma nervous.

"You look forward to my return every day, isn't it just for this?"

The contempt in Sean's tone made Emma disgusted. But what he said seemed to be right. Didn't she
wait for him to go back every day?

Sean's slender fingers pinched her jaw tightly. It was a little hurt.

Emma wanted to turn her head, but couldn't escape his restraint. She felt something on her lips again.
Sean's slightly cool lips pressed against her lips again.

Her lips and teeth were pried opened. A faint smell of wine filled in.

At this moment, Emma realized that Sean had drunk.

In the darkness, Sean's eyes were deep and bright, but it couldn't see the slightest lust.

He kept staring at Emma's eyes. Some tears were filled in her eyes.

"Want to cry? Where was your courage when you asked a man out just now?" Sean's voice sounded.

Sean's actions paused.

Emma pushed him away and sat up on the big bed.



The door was knocked from the outside. Winnie realized that something was going wrong, and her
voice also sounded outside the door, "Emma? Are you okay?"

Without Emma's response, the knock on the door outside became even heavier...

The shame in Emma's eyes was seen by Sean. He didn’t know why his mood was suddenly bad. An
indescribable sense of frustration rose from the bottom of his heart.

Opening the door of the suite, Emma rushed out.

Regardless of the surprised look of Winnie behind her, she just wanted to leave here as soon as
possible.

Emma's coat was still in the hotel. The wind was blowing outside and went through Emma's knitted
sweater. It was biting cold.

At the hotel's gate, Emma shivered and stopped a taxi.

The door of the car was just opened by her, but it was closed again by a hand suddenly stretched out
behind her.

The driver turned around, "Are you still going to take a taxi?"

"No, thank you!" Sean's voice sounded from behind her. Emma turned around...

She wanted to cry. She smashed the bag in her hand on Sean, tears falling on the back of her hand,
"You just came to see me embarrassed today, right? You know it is me, but you came to the
appointment on purpose..."

Sean did not speak, but hugged her in his arms and walked towards his car.

Along the way, the car inside was unusually quiet.

Sean was expressionless. He silently smoked three cigarettes in a row. Emma leaned her head against
the car window and said nothing.

The scenery outside the window was rapidly retreating. Emma's mind was already in a mess.

In her mind, it was all Sean's calm face when he kissed her. His eyes were too cold, which made her
feel uncomfortable. If he really only wanted to scare her, it could say that he did it. But why was there
some loss in her heart besides anger?

After a while, Sean put out the cigarette and threw it into the ashtray at hand, without looking at her. He
was staring at the road ahead without squinting, "Since you’re afraid, don't do this stupid thing again."

Hearing the irony in his tone, Emma simply turned her face away and didn't want to talk with him.

They were back to CJ Villa.

Emma slammed the door of the room closed in front of Sean.

Sean stood at the door for a while. But he was still expressionless. He turned around and returned to
the room.

Emma hardly slept all night.

She sat on the bed alone, thinking about what happened in the hotel.

Sean's kiss was still clearly printed in her mind.



He was different from Ivan. Ivan liked to open his eyes when kissing. His movements were gentle and
delicate, and his eyes were affectionate. She always indulged in it. But Sean was just the opposite. He
was not gentle, and his eyes were full of warnings. Thinking of this, Emma was a little annoyed...

In the morning, Emma woke up very early.

When Flora saw Emma coming out of the room with a small suitcase, she couldn't help asking in

sound.

Flora chased down the stairs to stop her, "Miss Powell, Mr. Knight said that you only know him in L City.
Where are you going if you leave here? Didn't you come to the wedding? But Mr. Knight's wedding

"What does it have to do with me whether he is going to hold the wedding or not? Flora, don't stop me."

With that said, Emma dragged the suitcase and walked to the door.



Flora said to Emma a few more times. Then Flora knew she couldn't stop Emma, so she turned to ask
Sean for help.

Today, Sean was different from usual. He saw all these indifferently. He got up, and put out the
cigarette in his hand and threw it into the ashtray.

Seeing Sean standing up, Flora finally breathed a sigh of relief.

She thought that Sean was going to stop Emma, but she never thought that he actually said, "Don't
stop her. Let her go..."

Flora was shocked. Even Emma didn't react for a while and froze in place.

Flora wanted to persuade again, but Sean had already stepped at the stairs without turning back.

Before going up the stairs, he turned around. His gaze fell on Emma's face, but he said to Flora, "She
is indeed not suitable to live here anymore..."

After speaking, he strode up the stairs and up to the second floor.

Emma bit her lip and didn't move for a long time. Seeing Sean just throwing her away like throwing a
burden, her eyes turned red...

Leaving CJ Villa, Emma stood at the intersection with her suitcase alone, not knowing where to go for a
while.

Her small face was flushed, completely because of anger.

She lifted the suitcase. It was so light. There were a few clothes inside. She just pretended to leave, but
she didn't expect to be really kicked out by him.



Turning her head angrily, she glared at the villa, "Fine! I’ll never come back. I don't want to see you long
