Mo Yichen was very uncomfortable. “Yan” was an exclusive name for him. Even Gu Yan’s best friend, Manla, called her full name.
“How can a new staff call her ‘Yan’? I remember that the staff of her studio all call her ‘President Gu’.” Mo Yichen thought.
“What is the relationship between Gu Yan and him? Why should Gu Yan allow him to call herself like this?” The more Mo Yichen thought, the more he was sad.
At that time, Gu Yan came out from the dressing room with Mo Xiangyan. Gu Yan took Mo Xiangyan to stand in front of Mo Yichen happily. She said, “Chen, look at him. He is cute in the suit and even like a star, isn’t he?”
Mo Yichen was still thinking about the message, so he glanced at Mo Xiangyan and answered unconcernedly, “Yes, it’s good.”
Gu Yan was totally like a mom. She didn’t detect what happened to Mo Yichen. She was lost in dressing up Mo Xiangyan.
Gu Yan smiled and nodded. She said, “It’s because Xiangyan is good-looking. He has good genes.”
Then she took the clothes form the clerk and said, “We’ll try it later, and I’ll take this one.” She pointed the clothes which was on him and said, “This is such a good place.”
The clerk nodded excitedly. This was a high-end mall, and they would get high commission. However, not many people would go shopping here. Sometimes, they didn’t have any order for a few days.
“They are really rich. They have got eight pieces of clothes and will continue shopping.” The clerk thought.
The clerk gazed at Gu Yan and thought, “I must seize the opportunity and let them buy clothes as much as possible.”
“Sure, madam. Your son is so cute. He looks good in anything.” The clerk said.
Gu Yan was happy when hearing “your son”. She cheerly took Mo Xiangyan to the dressing room again. Mo Yichen saw Gu Yan’s smile. He didn’t find chance to talk with her about the message.
“I’ll talk to her during lunch. Forget about the studio now.” Mo Yichen thought. He didn’t want other man to destroy their happy weekend.
The happy time always passed quickly. It was noon soon. Gu Yan wasn’t tired at all even if she accompanied Xiangyan for the whole morning. Mo Yichen was amazing about Gu Yan’s physical power.
However, people had to eat. Mo Yichen stopped Gu Yan from taking another clothes. He said helplessly, “Yan, it’s already twelve o’clock. It’s time to have lunch.”
Then he looked at Mo Xiangyan whose hand was held by Gu Yan and said, “Besides, it’s bad for his health if he doesn’t eat on time.”
Gu Yan came to her sense and looked at Mo Xiangyan, who looked tired. Gu Yan crouched down and said to Mo Xiangyan with guilt, “I’m so sorry, Xiangyan. It’s my fault that I ignored your feeling. Are you bushed? Don’t be mad at me.”
Mo Xiangyan stretched out his fat little hand and touched Gu Yan’s face. He said, “Aunt, it’s OK. I want to be with you as much as possible, so I didn’t stop you. Don’t blame yourself.”
Gu Yan was distressed and guilty. She thought, “He is such a kind boy. I love him very much.”
Gu Yan raised her head and said to Mo Yichen, “Chen, shall we go to a nearby restaurant since Xiangyan has been hungry for a long time.”
Mo Yichen looked at them who were considerate for each other. He was happy and said with a smile, “The top floor of the mall is a restaurant. The food is no worse than that of a five-star hotel. Let’s eat here.”
Gu Yan’s eyes brightened up. She said with surprise, “Wow, really? The service here is so good. It’ll be much popular since its high-quality and comprehensive services.”
Mo Yichen nodded with a smile. “The assistant really did a good job. I can consider to increase his salary.” He thought.
The assistant who was as busy as a bee in the company sneezed at that moment. “Who is thinking of me?” He murmured.
Mo Yichen ordered a nutritional meal for Mo Xiangyan and some Gu Yan’s favorite dishes. Then he poured the tea to Gu Yan and said, “Someone texted you this morning. It was about business.” He pretended that he didn’t care about it.
Gu Yan picked up her cell phone in doubt and said, “About business? The studio goes well recently. Who will text me on the weekend?”
Gu Yan read it and smiled. She said, “He is such a workaholic. He even doesn’t have a rest on the weekend.”
Then Gu Yan replied to him while talking to Mo Yichen, “Nobody can disturb the weekend which I am with Xiangyan, even if the studio closes down.”
Mo Yichen took a sip of tea and pretended to ask casually, “Who is he?”
Gu Yan didn’t explain to him too much. She said, “It’s a new staff who I mentioned to you before. He is an elite.”
Mo Yichen frowned and thought, “Is it appropriate for a new staff to call her ‘Yan’?” Mo Yichen was uncomfortable but didn’t say anything. After all, it was Gu Yan’s studio.
However, he had to do an investigation about Jiang Jingcheng. He felt that something was wrong because of his intuition. This kind of intuition helped him avoid the company suffering a great loss for many times.
For the sake of security, Mo Yichen asked the assistant to investigate Jiang Jingcheng.
