Qi Changfeng answered, “Nothing. What’s the matter?” He knew Mo Yichen pretty well and that Mo Yichen must want to ask him for help, otherwise Mo Yichen wouldn’t make the phone call. He guessed that it must be because of Gu Yan.
Hearing Qi Changfeng’s words, Mo Yichen thought, “Qi Changfeng really understands me. I didn’t say anything and he knew that I wanted to ask him for help.” Therefore, he said directly, “Can you come with me tomorrow?”

Qi Changfeng immediately rejected Mo Yichen after hearing what Mo Yichen said. He said to Mo Yichen, “You should solve the emotional issues yourself. I don’t want to get involved.”
In fact, Qi Changfeng was afraid that if Mo Yichen changed Gu Yan’s mind, he would have no chance. Thus, he refused to run the risk.
Mo Yichen continued, “You promised me yesterday.” Qi Changfeng replied, “I only promised to go out with you. I didn’t promise to help you for this thing.”
Mo Yichen didn’t give up, and said, “Then can you fire Gu Yan? If she has no job, she will go back with me.”
Qi Changfeng answered, “It definitely doesn’t work. If Gu Yan knows, she must be unhappy. Then, she will leave you even farther, and you will have fewer chances to change her mind.”
Mo Yichen thought that it made sense. If he did so, Gu Yan would hate him even more. He couldn’t let that happen.
Therefore, Mo Yichen expressed his thanks to Qi Changfeng, and decided to continue to go to the dessert shop every day to see if he could change Gu Yan’s mind.
