“Why did you think about escape?”

“No, ah, I mean why didn’t you choose to call for help? Those people were just nothing if you asked for help from your family.” Gu Yan asked in a fluster.

“I didn’t mean that. I was just curious why you chose to escape when the trouble could be solved by your family.”
But her explanation was more like saying that Qi Changfeng was timid. He ran away without daring to ask for help from his family. Wasn’t that a mockery of him?
