Li Yunhong felt painful as she saw her cherished grandson’s head broken and bleeding. He was not only Mo Yichen’s son, her baby grandson, but also a treasure of Mo family.
Then she called Mo Yichen. Mo Yichen didn’t want to answer it but realized after carefully thinking that maybe Li Yunhong had something important to tell him after all they had not been in touch for a long time.
To his surprise, Mo Yichen heard that she was crying when he got through, “Mom, what happened? Why are you crying?”
Sobbing, Li Yunhong said, “I am in the hospital. Mo Xiangyan bumped his head against the corner of the table. Come and see him.”
Hearing this, his mind went blank. He didn’t know what happened. How could this happen to Mo Xiangyan at home? Was he injured by himself or by others on earth?
No matter what’s the reason, he was burning with anxiety. His boy was in the hospital.
Not thinking too much, Mo Yichen hurried to prepare to go home when realizing his son had an accident.
Mo Yichen thought Gu Yan was Mo Xiangyan’s biological mother and she needed to know this. She loved their son so much that she must know this.
But now, Gu Yan totally had no idea what happened because no one told her that her son was injured. She kept dealing with the program. This time, she had made great effort to get this project. She determined that she must do it well and make others see her ability.
Therefore, Gu Yan held a meeting specially about the studio. She wanted to know about everybody’s idea and then made a decision.
“Think over the design requirements from the customer. And if you have good suggestions, put forward.” Wearing a professional suit, Gu Yan was seemed capable and experienced.
Hearing this, every participant said their own ideas in succession.
Mo Yichen hurried to the meeting room when the tense meeting was being held. He was kept out of the door by the staff and was told that there was an important meeting.
However, at this moment, Mo Yichen couldn’t think about too much. He pushed away the staff and went straight into the meeting room.
The door of meeting room was opened by Mo Yichen, which attracted the attention of people in the meeting. Seeing Mo Yichen, Gu Yan stood up and was about to ask him what happened.
Gu Yan wondered why because she had never seen Mo Yichen so worried. He didn’t look very well with a lot of sweat on his head.
Looking around the conference room, Mo Yichen came to Gu Yan and pulled her to walk out.
At this point, Jiang Jingcheng couldn’t stand the behavior of Mo Yichen, and thought, “We were having a meeting. Why did this guy interrupt us? And he is so unexpectedly rude to Gu Yan.”
He was so dissatisfied with Mo Yichen. Thus, he got up, went to Mo Yichen and stopped him.
“Get out of my way. What are you doing? It’s none of your business.” Mo Yichen said rudely in an anxious mood.
Of course, hearing that, Jiang Jingcheng became unpleasant. He blocked in front of them and didn’t allow Gu Yan to be taken away by Mo Yichen.
“Mr. Mo, we are having a meeting and you want to pull Miss Gu out. What’s the rush?”
Mo Yichen pushed Jiang Jingcheng aside and said to him, “Gu Yan and I have to go for something important. Get out of my way. Do I need your permission?” Then pulling Gu Yan, he continued to walk out.
Jiang Jingcheng kept stopping them, and Gu Yan said, “The meeting continues. You collect good ideas for adoption, and I will discuss with you later. Don’t worry. I know Yichen is not an unreasonable man, so I will go to handle things with him first. I will come back soon.”
Hearing Gu Yan saying so, Jiang Jingcheng slowly stepped away unwillingly.
Gu Yan said to him, “Don’t worry, I will be okay. If there is anything important about the studio, you can call me. Hold this meeting for me. It’s all yours.”
Unpleasantly, Jiang Jingcheng disliked Mo Yichen because every time he fell in love with someone, Mo Yichen would impede him.
Even if Gu Yan was Mo Yichen’s girlfriend, he still kept a hint of fantasy about her.
The behaviors of Gu Yan, however, showed that she only loved Mo Yichen. He would have no chance at all.
He was so sad, because he thought he had a chance before, for Gu Yan always treated him very well. But now, he thought he might misunderstand her.
And so, he had no chance at all. Actually, this should be the consequence that he could predict. He, however, facing this result, still felt painful more or less.
He had no idea about what to do next, how to give up his love for Gu Yan, and what kind of mentality should be use to face Gu Yan? All of these troubled him and made him fidgety.
However, he still had to attach great importance to the interests of the studio. Even if he felt unpleasant, he had to preside over the meeting for Gu Yan.
Being pulled by Mo Yichen, Gu Yan didn’t know why she had a sense of foreboding. She was so flustered, feeling like something serious would happen.
Mo Yichen, pulling her, was on a trot. Judging from his anxious behavior, Gu Yan knew something serious certainly had happened. Gu Yan was very nervous and she felt her heart was in her mouth.
Walking out of the conference room, Mo Yichen stopped with a serious face. Gu Yan asked, “What happened? Why did you find me in such a hurry?”
“My mom just called me. She said Xiangyan was sent to hospital because he fell down and his head was injured.” Mo Yichen said shakily with a grieved look.
It was like a thunderclap hitting her head heavily and suddenly. Gu Yan’s head buzzed and she didn’t know what she should do.
No wonder she was uncomfortable and always felt something bad would happen today. And now it became true. Something bad really happened.
