“Lydia, you are shameless because you seduced me. You wanted me to help you move up in the
company, so you pretended to be drunk and asked me to send you back to your room. Then you took off
my clothes. You b*tch…”
Pinned to the floor by Jared, Zayne could only shout at the top of his lungs at Lydia.
Seeing this, Jared lifted his foot. Following that, Zayne leaped up immediately and rushed toward Lydia.
Viciously, he slapped Lydia hard across her cheeks.
Lydia covered her face with her hand and glared at Zayne. “Zayne, you are a f*cking sc*mbag. You told
me that you only love me and are with Maria only because of her wealthy family. I didn’t expect you to
have affairs with so many other women…”
Feeling extremely dissatisfied, Lydia then started to fight with Zayne.
In a short while, their clothes were torn, and Zayne’s face was covered with blood.
“Security guards, please remove these two from our premises…”
Wearily, Josephine looked at the ugly scene and called for security guards to take them away.
A few security guards rushed in, ready to take the two troublemakers away.

Zayne did not want to leave, and he grabbed at Maria’s feet, unwilling to let go.

position will be given to Maria. As for the position of sales manager, Hilda will be taking over. I hope you
two can work hard and be assets to the company…”
At Jared’s words, the whole sales department applauded loudly.
Maria was taken by surprise. She had thought that even if Jared did not blame or punish her, he would
not give her a position of importance. After all, her attitude toward him had not been pleasant from the
start.
She could hardly believe that he would make her the general manager.
“Maria, quickly, thank Mr. Chance for this opportunity…”
Someone in the department prompted Maria.
Maria snapped out of her daze and turned to Jared. “Jared, no, I mean, Mr. Chance. Thank you. I
promise to work hard!”
When Maria finished thanking him, she tugged at Hilda, who was next to her. “Hilda, quickly thank Mr.

Jared did not blame any of the staff, so they were all extremely relieved and grateful.
As everyone left, Jared looked at Hilda’s departing figure. He wanted to catch up with her and give some
explanation. However, Josephine was nearby, so he did not.

At that, Josephine got up and left.
Jared caught up with Hilda and asked to speak with her.
