Jared’s name, he hastily whirled around. His expression turned icy when he spotted the man standing
at the hall entrance. “How dare you, Desmond?”
His eyes narrowing dangerously, Jared glowered at Desmond coldly. Every single word out of his

Such fear struck Desmond at the man’s expression that he trembled violently and took several steps
back.
“M-Mr. Chance, I can explain.”

“What else is there to explain? Is Ms. Jingle here? Let her go!” Jared ordered chillingly.
Desmond stumbled back several steps before he finally turned his gaze to Colton.
He had no say there, so he could only look to Colton.
“So, you’re Jared Chance, the kid hunted down by Jadeborough’s Warriors Alliance?” Colton looked
Jared up and down. Then, he continued, “Cecilia Jingle is in my bed, and she’s already my woman.
There’s no way I’m allowing you to take her away.”
The instant Jared heard that Cecilia had been sullied by the man, his aura burst forth. The temperature
in the entire hall abruptly plummeted.
