“You should just give up on your pursuit, as we will never hand him over to you. I will give you two
choices; either you bring your people and leave this place, or you die here,” Axton snapped in a frigid
tone.
There was clearly no room for any discussion.
Hayden was stumped to silence.
“How insolent of Medicine God Sect! What do you take the other clans for?”
Declan narrowed his eyes at Axton at the latter’s outright threat.
Axton looked at Declan and furrowed his brows slightly. “Who are you? Are you a backup of Hayden
Xuereb?”
“This is master of the Turcoln clan, Master Declan Naberhaus. The very Curtis whom Kai murdered was
Master Naberhaus’ most prized disciple. He is here to seek revenge against Kai as well,” Hayden
pointed at Declan and introduced him to the elders of the sect.
Axton and the elders’ expressions darkened slightly at the mention of the Turcoln clan.
Declan was a master of magecraft, and a devious one at that. He would deploy all forms of resources, be
it talismans, arcane arrays, charms, and even energy of heaven and earth to fight, unlike martial artists.

Axton’s remarks left Hayden and Declan speechless, especially Hayden.

Hayden turned to Declan and said, “Master Naberhaus, do not fall prey to their false claims. Kai is

Declan said nothing as he transfixed his stare at Axton. After some time, he finally uttered, “I do not care
who this Kai is for he has to die. If you do not wish for blood to be spilled at Medicine God Sect, I would
like to advise you to hand the man over. I promise that I will never bring trouble upon the sect.”Declan did not believe in Axton’s claim that Kai was anointed as the new Lord of Medicine God Sect as
