Chapter 2: So Rude

Looking at the examination report in her hand, Lauren was completely at a loss.She was pregnant.

With a trace of melancholy, Lauren couldn't help feeling her belly.

A little life was growing inside.

Alfred didn't love her.

With that, Alfred took out the pen prepared in advance and threw it in front of Lauren with the divorce
agreement.

"What if I'm pregnant with your child? Are you still going to divorce me?"

Alfred's face darkened quickly.He stepped forward and grabbed Lauren's neck, anger spreading over

"I didn't lie to you, for the sake of the child, I hope you can think about it."

Lauren took out the crumpled pregnancy test report, letting it slide down the coffee table to the ground.

When her eyes were fixed on the red word "positive", Lauren couldn't help but let tears mist her eyes.It
was supposed to be a piece of happy news, but she was very worried.It was useless to say anything
else.

She would no longer humiliate herself.She was embarrassed enough today.

After returning to the bedroom for a long while, she found that the light in the living room was still
on.She wondered what he thought when he saw it.

Would he throw it directly into the trash can? Lauren closed the curtains and lay back on the bed and
fell asleep soundly.
