Chapter 15: Hysterectomy Operation

The blood was constantly flowing.

Lauren wearing a white wedding dress lay on a bed covered with white rose petals. There was a knife
stuck in her chest, and blood burst from her chest.

Lauren's wedding dress was stained red. Blood flew through her body and also stained the petals
under her body red.

She stood up and looked at him. Her smile was very weird.

"Alfred, I love you. I never act."

The smile on her face gradually faded. Then she turned into a bitter and sorrowful look.

"But why did you never believe me? I love you so much. I also imagine that I can grow old with you and
we'll have so many kids. Then we'll be holding hands and walk to the end of life. "

Alfred walked to her anxiously, trying to hold her hand, but she flashed and he couldn't catch her.

"Why you are so cruel? You even want to divorce me and get away from me. You never believe me."

Lauren tilted her head, her face filled with sadness.

"Stop talking. Let's go to the hospital first, okay?"

He only felt terrified when he saw the blood on her chest. Obviously, the knife was stuck in her chest,



but it was him who felt so distressed.

"No!"

She screamed bitterly.

Blood came out of her eyes and mouth. "I know, you want to take me to the hospital to take my child
away, right?"

She gave a wry smile again.

Then a gleam of light flashed in her eyes.

"Since you don't want this child, then I don't want it either."

As she spoke, she pulled the knife out of her chest and then cut her belly open. Then a wrinkled baby
boy dug out abruptly from her belly.

"Look, this is our child!"

She smiled bitterly.

Alfred only felt his throat was uncomfortable and then spat out a mouthful of blood.

He woke up from his dream and found that his pillow was wet from crying.



He finally understood that he had already fallen in love with Lauren some time ago, but he never
wanted to admit it.

That night, Alfred couldn't fall asleep again. Therefore, he went to the Kent Group at dawn.

He wanted to numb himself with work and then waited for her to go home.

The secretary was already waiting in his office early in the morning as if she was waiting for him
deliberately.

He took the documents and thought that there were several terms that he needed to discuss with
Noah, so he immediately took the documents and went to Noah's office.

Suddenly a familiar voice came out from inside.

Although he couldn't hear exactly what the voice was saying, he could tell that it was Lauren's voice!

Alfred seemed to see hope and immediately pushed open the door of Noah's office hurriedly.

However, when he went in, there was no one except Noah.

Alfred strode up to Noah, grabbed his neck, and asked, "Where did you hide Lauren?!"

Noah looked confused, "Isn't Lauren with you? Why do you come to ask me?"

"I obviously heard the voice in your office! You're hiding her!"



"Tell me. What happened to Lauren? Otherwise, how could she disappear for no reason?"

Noah asked immediately.

The anxiety on his face was not fake.

Alfred let go of Noah helplessly. He knocked on his head. He must miss Lauren so much, that was why
he had hallucinations.

"She had an operation to remove the uterus and then left."

Alfred said the incident plainly.

However, his heart hurt. If he had known that things would turn out to be this way, he would definitely
not let Lauren have an abortion operation.

He could have just had her give birth to the baby. He could afford to raise it anyway.

But it was useless regretting it now.

Without the uterus, she would never have another baby in her life.

Noah said angrily, "I really want to kill you now! But Lauren is gone now, I'm going to find her first.
Alfred, wait for me to come back. When I find Lauren, I'll definitely make you pay for this!"

As he said, he pulled Alfred and walked out, "Follow me to find Lauren immediately. Put everything
aside first."



Alfred also agreed.

He needed to find Lauren first. There was always business to do. He had the ability to turn the tide in
everything except getting her back. He wasn't positive anymore when it came to her.

However, just as they were about to leave the building, a strange voice rang out.

Alfred stopped immediately and looked in a certain direction.

Alfred immediately turned around, but there was no one there. He was really confused. Obviously,
there was no sign of her, but he always fantasized about it.

Alfred spent almost all the manpower and material resources, but Lauren seemed to have vanished
from the world.

This search took three years.

However, he did not give up for three years.

Alfred never thought that it would turn out to be like this when he saw Lauren again.

She was wearing a smart suit, holding the acquisition contract in her hand, smiling charmingly and
radiantly.



Lauren won a project right after returning home, and that project was competed by multiple companies.
One of the largest companies was the Kent Group.

Alfred didn't believe that anyone would know what he thought. When he was about to come to meet the
opponent, he saw the woman he had been thinking of for three years.

"Lauren, you are back."

His hands almost trembled, trying to hold her into his arms. "It seems that Mr. Kent lost the case and
came to find some trouble."

Lauren responded coldly as if looking at a stranger. "You can't beat me if you don't use the dirty
moves."

All the excitement in Alfred's heart was extinguished by Lauren's words. She didn't come back because
she still loved him but because she wanted to retaliate against him.
