Chapter 12: You Have No Right To Decide

Carrie saw Alfred come in and immediately changed into a delicate look.

"Alfred, she is trying to kill me!"

Carrie cried and ran into Alfred's arms. Her slender shoulders trembled pretentiously as if she was
shaking with fright, which looked so pitiful.

"What the hell is going on?"

Alfred subconsciously favored Carrie. He comforted the person in his arms and patted her on the
shoulder lightly, trying to give the delicate woman in his arms a sense of security.

Carrie turned her head and smiled triumphantly at Lauren behind her, then changed into a look of
horror, and said tremblingly, "Alfred, I just saw that Lauren was unconscious all the time. I was afraid
that something would happen to her. So I said that if she could wake up, I would give you up. Then she
and you will have many children in the future. I was begging her to wake up."

After saying that, she started crying.

"But Lauren woke up immediately when she heard me. She got up from the bed and tried to beat me,
saying that I was a bitch and that I was a rat in the gutter. I don't deserve to be with you at all. She and
you are made for each other. Alfred, you have to help me. Lauren, she becomes so scary. She will kill
me out of jealousy."

After Alfred listened to her, he felt a bit doubtful.



Would that woman really say that they were made for each other?

She obviously wanted to divorce him before this.

His eyes began to shift from Carrie to Lauren.

Carrie just cried in shock, but the back of Lauren's hand swelled up again. There was blood coagulated
around her wrist.

Her lips were so pale and her complexion was not ruddy at all.

He had never noticed that Lauren was so thin and delicate.

It seemed that he could put her down with a little strength.

Could Lauren in such a condition murder Carrie?

"Lauren, did you really say that?"

He tried to confirm something to Lauren for the first time.

Carrie panicked. In the past, Alfred would believe everything that she said. But why was he asking that
bitch today?

"Alfred, don't you believe me? Don't forget that she married you because she was greedy for wealth.
She knew we were a couple and came to separate us. She is the shameless mistress!"



Carrie repeatedly discredited Lauren. She was afraid that Alfred would no longer believe her.

She glowered at Lauren. How could that woman be so calm?

"Enough."

As Alfred heard what Carrie said, he became more uncomfortable. Maybe he didn't believe in his heart
that Lauren would like him again.

As he thought of this possibility, his heart seemed to hurt a little.

"Go back first. I'll see you tonight."

Alfred's comfort made Carrie very unhappy. However, she dared not show it. She could only leave as
she was told.

Her nails almost sank in her palm. She would definitely make Lauren pay for this.

After Carrie left, Alfred quickly walked up to Lauren.

"Tell me if what Carrie said is true."

Although he was eager to know the answer, he ended up saying, "I knew you were just pretending. You
don't want to divorce me at all, right?! You are acting in front of me, and you are telling the truth in front
of Carrie, aren't you?"



What was hidden beneath his triumphant look was a restless heart.

He didn't know what he was disturbed. But he didn't want Lauren to deny it.

Lauren sneered and lay back on the bed.

She had already given Alfred up. She knew Alfred wouldn't believe her. If there was no hope, then she
would not feel desperate at all.

She was now lying in the hospital with wounds all over her body. But her broken body couldn't even
compare to Carrie's tears.

"Whatever you think. I got nothing to say. Anyway, no matter what I say, you will just think I am
pretending in front of you. You should just go to prepare our divorce documents. I will go to the Civil
Affairs Bureau to get the divorce when I recover. Then I will have nothing to do with you after that."

With a bang, Alfred angrily threw the water glass beside the bed to the ground. He felt that something
in his body had broken like this glass.

"Do you want to get rid of me?" He sneered. "Lauren, I'm telling you. Even if the divorce is about to
happen, I'll be the one to decide when it should happen. You have no right to decide!"

Seeing her indifferent look, his heart actually ached.

He strode towards her and pressed her to the bed.



Alfred pressed her hands on the pillow, so Lauren had no chance to move.

He smiled wickedly, "Lauren, it seems you really don't behave yourself. I'll decide what our relationship
is. Now I want to punish you a little and let you know what your duty is!"

Lauren saw the desire in his eyes and instantly wanted to resist. However, she was injured physically,
and her strength was almost exhausted when she was fighting in the room with Carrie just now.

At this moment, even if she wanted to resist, she was powerless.

She could only let him tear open her pants forcibly. Then a hard object got inside her. That thing was so
hot and felt so dangerous.
