After the meal, He Miao took a quick shower and lay on the bed, scrolling through her phone.

He Miao was thinking about something as she dialed a number on her phone. Before the screen turned off, Jing Yan could clearly see his own name on the screen.

He could not wait to pick up his phone. Before he regained consciousness, He Miao was still in bed watching TV. Calling her now would not disturb her rest.

He Miao was surprised to receive his call so late at night. She asked in surprise, “Don’t tell me you’re still working overtime?”
“Yes.” Jing Yan did not want to lie to her, so he could only answer this question vaguely. Then he asked again, “What are your plans for the online rumors?”
