“Miaomiao, don’t sleep.” Jing Yan hugged He Miao in a panic and urged the driver to speed up to the hospital.
His clothes and hands were stained red with He Miao’s blood. Jing Yan’s eyes were red as he leaned his nose close to her neck, breathing in the sweet milky scent on her body.
When they arrived at the hospital, the driver immediately got out of the car and opened the back door. Jing Yan carried He Miao and jogged into the hospital. When the nurses saw the scissors on her shoulder, they hurriedly found a bed for Jing Yan to put her on, then pushed her into the emergency room.
After an hour, the doctor came out, took off his mask, and looked at Jing Yan anxiously. “Are you the patient’s family? The patient has lost a lot of blood and needs an emergency blood transfusion. The doctor came back to his senses and nodded. “Then follow the nurse to test your blood type. If the match is successful, we can transfuse the blood.”

“Well done.” Jing Yan turned his head slightly, narrowed his eyes, and ordered, “Don’t let Grandpa know about this for now. Send two people to the vet to take care of Onion. Let me know if anything happens.”
“Yes!” Chen Zhao was supposed to leave immediately after reporting the work, but he was really worried about Jing Yan’s health. He had worked for the president for so long, but he had never seen Jing Yan look so bad. “Why don’t you take a nap? I’ll help you look after Miss He.”
“I’m fine. I just drew a little blood.” Jing Yan turned back and stared unblinkingly at He Miao, who had her eyes tightly shut, praying that she would wake up soon.

It was all his fault. He really deserved to die. If he could, Jing Yan was willing to lie in He Miao’s place and suffer all the torture for her.
As time passed, He Miao still showed no signs of waking up.
In the dark night, a whimper suddenly came from the ward where nothing could be seen. Jing Yan held He Miao’s hand and pressed his forehead against the back of her hand. His heart ached as if it had been stabbed countless times, and his tears silently fell on the white bed.
“Jing Yan, are you crying?”
A weak voice suddenly sounded in front of him. Jing Yan raised his head abruptly. He did not even bother to wipe his tears. He raised his hand to caress He Miao’s haggard face in pleasant surprise, and said in a trembling voice, “Miaomiao, you’re finally awake.”
