He softened his tone and pleaded softly, “Let me pick you up when you’re done playing tomorrow, okay? Why don’t you go home and sleep instead of other people’s houses? I’ll warm you some milk and coax you to sleep, okay?”

“Alright,” she said. He Miao nodded and raised her hand to caress his hair. She suddenly had the vision that the man in front of her was actually an enlarged version of Onion.
Jing Yan rubbed his head against her palm in enjoyment. He only woke up when he saw her surprised look. He pulled her hand away and coughed dryly. “Let’s go back and eat. Don’t let Grandpa wait too long.”
“Oh, okay.” He Miao nodded. When she caught a glimpse of the man’s red ears, she could not help but laugh behind him.
Hearing her laughter, Jing Yan was annoyed that he had been a dog for too long and had accidentally picked up the habit of a dog. He almost thought that he was the stupid dog who always waited for his owner to touch his head!
