Li Feng listened attentively with a frown. By the time He Miao finished, he was already so shocked that he could not speak.
He did not know that He Miao had such a hard time after being taken away by her family. He thought He Miao would be very happy, but he did not expect her to earn everything she had now.

His teeth were chattering. “President Jing, I just received a message from the security guard of Miss He’s neighborhood. He said that she went into a hotel this morning and stayed there for about half an hour. Then she came out with a man.”
Bang! Jing Yan slammed the documents in his hand on the table and glared at him. “Are you sure the security guard didn’t see wrongly?”
“I’m sure.”
Chen Zhao handed the surveillance video to Jing Yan. The time and the two’s figures were clearly recorded.
Jing Yan slapped the tablet away and angrily smashed the teacup on the table to the ground. “Where did you get those photos this morning? You still haven’t found the source?”
“President Jing, the source address has been encrypted and can only be traced back to overseas. I think some technical means were used. It will take some time for us to crack it.”
Chen Zhao swallowed his saliva and probed, “President Jing, what are you going to do? Why don’t you call Miss He to confirm it first?”
“Confirm what?” Jing Yan looked up impatiently and saw him shrinking his neck in fear. He suddenly sneered and leaned back in his chair. His voice was calm. “You mean, you want me to confirm whether He Miao has cheated on me or not?”
“No, President Jing,” Chen Zhao shook his head in denial. “Miss He would never do anything to let you down. There must be a misunderstanding.”
“Of course I know there’s a misunderstanding.” Jing Yan retracted his gaze and reached out to him again. “Show me those photos.”
“Oh, okay.” Chen Zhao did not expect Jing Yan’s temper to change so quickly. He was really temperamental. Chen Zhao could not read his mind, so he could only do as he was told.
Jing Yan’s eyes narrowed as he carefully flipped through each photo of He Miao and another man.
In the photos, sometimes the man had his back to He Miao. Sometimes, the two of them leaned on each other’s shoulders. Sometimes, they held each other’s hands. Their actions were intimate, and it was hard not to suspect their relationship.
Chen Zhao carefully observed Jing Yan’s expression. Anyone who saw these photos would be angry, let alone a man of Jing Yan’s status. He was really afraid that Jing Yan would do something irreparable in a fit of anger.
Before he could say anything, Jing Yan put the tablet back on the table with an indifferent expression. He stood up, buttoned up his suit, and ordered, “Send these photos to my phone.”
“Yes.”
After leaving the company, Jing Yan went straight to He Miao’s house. On the way, he called He Miao and asked her to wait for him at home.
He Miao was surprised that he had finished work so quickly and even knew that she was not at home.
After she sent Li Feng back to the hotel, she had just returned home when Jing Yan knocked on her door.
“Why did you come back so quickly?” He Miao looked at the time and saw his ashen face in confusion. “What’s wrong? Is your work not going well?”
Jing Yan did not answer her question. Instead, he walked up to her, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her to the sofa. He pressed himself on her, his voice hoarse and deep, and his eyes filled with determination. “You’re not He Miao. Who are you?”
He Miao’s heart sank, and a chill ran down her spine.
She did not expect him to suddenly ask this question. Just as she was about to pretend that she did not know anything, Jing Yan took out his phone from his pocket and showed her a picture.
“Do you have no impression of these photos and the person in them? You don’t have to lie to me. I’m sure you’re not the He Miao you used to be.”
The moment he saw the photo, he was sure that the two women were not the same person.
