“You also think we’re a good match?” Jing Yan looked at Xu Meng through the rear view mirror with a serious face.
Seeing that the two of them were about to sell her out, He Miao quickly interrupted, “Drive properly. Don’t talk nonsense.”
Xu Meng snickered and sat back down. She was happy for He Miao from the bottom of her heart.
When the car arrived at He Miao’s house, Jing Yan followed behind and escorted them upstairs before continuing into his own house. He had barely slept for the past few days, so it was a good time for him to take a shower and have a good sleep.
The next morning, Jing Yan came to pick He Miao up as usual. He drove them to class before leaving.
Xu Meng looked in the direction of the car and asked in confusion, “Doesn’t he need to go to class now? The school won’t expel him because of his severe truancy, right?”
“They won’t, I asked him last time,” He Miao answered with a smile. He said that the school only required him to take the final exam and that he could spend the rest of his time on his own. This must be Grandpa Jing’s idea.
“It’s so nice to be rich.” Xu Meng could not help but sigh. Suddenly, she thought of something and turned to He Miao. “Goddess, don’t forget each other when you’re rich. When you get rich in the future, don’t forget to give me some special privileges!”
“Sure, my future General Manager Xu.” He Miao walked into the classroom with her, all smiles.
For the next two days, she was immersed in making fragrances in the laboratory. It was only on Tuesday night when Xia Yan came to look for her after school that she finally closed the lid and completed all the preparations.
Xia Yan took her to see Sen Wen, a designer of a brand under the Xia family. The people attending the party were all ladies from the upper-class society, and she would not be able to close a deal with them without a decent dress.
When Xia Yan and He Miao arrived, Sen Wen had a measuring tape around his neck and was drawing something on a piece of paper with a pen in his hand.
“Sen Wen, this is He Miao, Miss He.” Xia Yan took a cup of hot tea from the assistant and introduced.
Upon hearing her voice, Sen Wen immediately looked up from his drawing and complimented Xia Yan before circling around He Miao in amazement. “Oh my god, you look even more beautiful than in the photo. I’ve also watched your short drama. It’s a pity that you didn’t enter the entertainment industry!”
“Thank you,” she said. He Miao nodded courteously and scanned the elegantly decorated office. She pointed at a dark-colored gown by the window and asked, “Was that also designed by you, Sen Wen?”
“You have a good eye, Miss He. Do you like it?” he said with a proud smile. “I can let you try.”
“Alright.” He Miao fell in love with the gown at first sight and let the assistant lead her into the changing room.
The design of the dress was simple but elegant. It was elegant with a bit of majesty. It wrapped around her exquisite figure and the folded collar at the chest perfectly highlighted the slender neck. If she could match it with a pearl necklace, it would definitely be more dazzling.
Sen Wen looked at the beautiful girl in front of the mirror and could not help but praise, “If you weren’t President Xia’s business partner, I would definitely pay a high price to hire you as my exclusive model!”

She nodded and took off her dress before getting the assistant to help her match a few pieces of jewelry and put them into a gift box. After everything was ready, Xia Yan went out to answer a phone call. When she returned, she looked a little depressed. “My mother wants to see you. Come home with me first.”
The Xia family’s villa was a European-styled building in the city center. When the car arrived at the main gate, a butler came out to welcome them warmly. “Miss Xia, Madam is waiting for you in the study.”
“I know.” Xia Yan turned around and looked at the calm He Miao. Suddenly, she leaned closer to her and asked worriedly, “If my mom wants to terminate our cooperation, don’t agree to it. Let me handle it.”
He Miao raised her eyebrows and looked at her in surprise. She had long expected Lu Shuang to make things difficult for her, but she did not expect Xia Yan to side with her so easily.
