Chapter 15

Today was supposed to be the opening ceremony of the movie "Hanging Away", but last night, Gavyn
suddenly received a phone call from the deputy director and learned that Director Adam was actually
going to re-cast.

Despite the fact that Adam was a novice director, his previous work not only won all of the awards at
the domestic film festival but also took home the gold medal at the SNA Film Festival.

His new film, "Hanging Away,’ was led by a male.

The female lead in this film was not important even though it was popular with the viewers.

Gavyn put in a lot of effort to help Lucy get rid of Sam Collin’s growing popularity of being a heroine.

Now that he was about to start filming, Director Adam was actually going to choose a new character!
After inquiring, he found out that Zac had invested in this play.

It seemed like they were not satisfied with Lucy.

Lucy's expression was also very terrible.

She looked at Kayden and bit her lip.

"I went shopping and met my cousin.I advised her to consider the marriage carefully.I didn't expect that

After saying this, Lucy and Gavyn relaxed their expressions and swept away the haze.

Connor held the documents and waited at the side.

Gavyn knew that Kayden definitely had something to do, so he prepared to leave with Lucy.

"Lucy, did Connor say you took that necklace from me last time?"

Kayden suddenly said, his eyes narrowed as she looked at Lucy.

He knew that Lucy often sent people to get the jewelry, but he didn’t know that she had also taken this
one.

Connor should have told Vivian that this was for Anika.

Connor handed the document to Kayden and asked, "Boss, did you ask Director Adam to dock with the
Stevens Corporation's medical cooperation plan?"

The leader was Oliver's second brother, Owen Cooper, who was currently in charge of a medical
cooperation project between the Meyer Corp and the Jenkins Corp.

Oliver's ability was average, but his greed was high.

He planned this collaboration with Kayden so he could enter the medical field.

"Kayden, this is the company."

She took a step back and said with a cold expression, "Kayden, not inside the company”

He softened his tone and said, "Alright, let's talk in the car"

After saying that, he reached out his hand to hold her but Anika ignored it.

As they were talking, the elevator door suddenly opened.

Anika raised her eyes and saw a familiar figure appear in the elevator.

The man leisurely walked out of the elevator with one hand in his pocket.

After seeing the situation before him, he raised his eyebrows gently and said in his usual relaxed voice,
"Am I here at a good time?"



Then, he looked at Anika with a smile and slowly stretched out his slender knuckle palm.

His final voice was slightly raised, and his tone was gentle that she had never heard of before.

"Nika, I've been waiting for you outside"
