The short vacation passed quickly.

In a blink of an eye, on the fourth, Anika went to work as usual.

Although it wasn't an exclusive supply, the NY Company agreed to the business proposal plus Anika
was able to cooperate with the NK Management to win the CF.

She even attracted many investors’ inquiries, but Anika didn't have any intention of raising funds for the
time being.

In the office, Sara had just reported to Anika about the new product line on the C side.

Anika handed the document over to her and asked, "What happened to the things I asked you to do
earlier?"

Sara was well aware of Anika’s query.

She responded by saying, "Dorothy's financial resources have been cut off since Oliver's
imprisonment.She immediately caught up with Lucy to ask for assistance.I am afraid she will not be
returning to Misty Bridge."

Dorothy was Oliver's lover who had given birth to an illegitimate child and had been deported.

Oliver's assets had been frozen and he had been imprisoned.

Dorothy and her son had no other option but to return home due to a lack of financial resources.

As for why Lucy had been pestered by Dorothy, it was probably because someone had revealed Lucy's
information to Dorothy.

Anika stood up and walked over to the window, smiling.

"I will have Sara call you back later."

She didn't want her son to not go to school, so she could only go to Lucy.

money right now” and Lucy shook off Dorothy firmly.

"How can you not have money when you drive a sports car every day?"

Dorothy's rage flared up when she heard Lucy's reply.

Dorothy had no idea Lucy's car was about to be mortgaged, so she assumed Lucy would be able to
pay for Johnny's tuition fees.

Lucy thought her current situation was ridiculous as she looked at her father's lover.

Anika Meyer joined the Meyer family when she was 15 years old.

Lucy noticed that Anika gradually took away everyone's gaze, and that all the halos were placed on
Anika’s head.

Lucy was suppressed everywhere by Anika, making Anika everyone's favorite.

Lucy didn't want to lose everything, so she had to try her best to catch Kayden.

report.

"YT's profit is five points less?"

As he lifted the financial statement that Frederick had just handed over, the man's voice was cold.

"YT was also be affected by the overall decline in profits in the market this year’’ Director Sants said
after a brief pause and consideration.

Director Sants feared that the boss would hold him responsible.

Frederick unexpectedly said a few words to Zac in hushed tones.



The latter stood up with a nod of his head.

"A market research report will be written by YT's in-charge.The meeting will come to a close here"

The solemn ambiance had dissipated.

Everyone exhaled a sigh of relief and wondered what Frederick had just said to President Hill.

Zac went into the elevator and returned to his top-floor office.

Frederick and Tony trailed close behind.

"Sir, Ms.Anika just called and told you to go to the restaurant right after work. Zac had not celebrated
his birthday in a few years.Today, however, was clearly different.

Zac seemed to be in a good mood, according to Frederick.

"Yes, thank you."

"How did you end up here?"

As he flipped through the financial statements without raising his head, Zac's eyelids sank slightly.

Tony said with a click of his tongue, "I really value our friendship.Didn't I send you a present?"

He was more conscientious than Zac.

The man looked up at the box that Tony had placed on the table.

He nodded and pointed, "Thank you, take the coffee machine away.The Nespresso coffee maker was
custom-made, just one of its kind.” Tony loved coffee and stared at it for along time.



"Zac, you have never changed.’ Tony was able to bend and extend, and he was proficient at
complimenting people.

"Did you handle those matters?"

Zac asked, raising his brows to look at him.

"Do not worry, I have already got it.But, Zac, what if Anika discovers it on her own? Didn't she say that
women hate lying the most?"

He did not know if Kayden was depressed, but he did want to travel abroad.

Kayleigh's thoughts were racing, and she was still hoping for Zac's assistance.

How did all this happen? Tony was met with the man’s slightly cold gaze after he finished speaking.

He cocked his head and gave an embarrassed smile.

"It is my mouth again.How on earth would Anika find out? "

He hurriedly left the president's office, carrying the coffee machine in his hands.
