The injury on Anika’s foot was shallow.

A few days later, she put on comfortable shoes when she went to work after the ribbon-cutting
ceremony.

Zac knew that she had to go to work.

He frowned and said a few words.

However, he did not resolve her stubbornness but only made a promise that he wouldn't go to the
construction site for the next few days.

As the construction of the North City Project officially started, Anika had a bunch of workloads.

The next few days were very busy to the point that she often brought her work at home to finish it over
time.

As a result, there was no time to cook.

For several days, Zac had not enjoyed the take-out breakfast service.

Early Thursday morning, Anika packed up and went downstairs.

Zac was already dressed and was sitting on the sofa.

He scowled as he stared at the two sandwiches on the coffee table.

cook for her, even after she did not step in the kitchen for four consecutive days.



Anika raised her eyebrows and slowly walked forward.

"Did you make these two sandwiches?"

Zac saw Anika as she walked downstairs.

He pursed his thin lips and replied indifferently, "Yes."

Anika was quite surprised.

She looked at the sandwich on the coffee table and nodded in acknowledgment of his hard work.

She spoke to herself, ‘Sandwiches are not hard to make, and there are many recipes online.

Zac made these two sets, and they look quite well’.

She casually pointed at one of the sandwiches and smiled at him, "So this one was made for me?"

Zac leaned against the sofa and didn't answer directly.

After a while, he looked at her with a confused expression.

He casually glanced at her and shook his head, "No"

Perhaps because she felt that the man's answer had wasted her feelings, the corner of Anika's mouth
twitched slightly and she did not speak again.

Zac looked at her expression carefully and gazed down.

He coughed lightly and said, "If you want to eat, I'll cook it for you tomorrow”

As for today's portion, it was better to give it to Tony.

"What's wrong, Zac?"

Tony looked at the man in front of him in confusion.

Then, he took Tony's phone and ordered takeout for one person.

Tony was a little surprised.



"Oh, Anika is cooking for you again?"

cooking for Zac.

Anika did not know that the two unpleasant sandwiches were already in Tony's stomach.

Anika knew that Zac had a lot to deal with the people from the Planning Bureau.

In the past few days, she would always go to the study room to ask him about things that she did not
understand in the approval documents, and they did not hesitate to give him advice.



After returning home in the evening, Anika was listening to Zac as he explained the specific process of
planning and evaluation in the study.

going to fix it.

After a few simple glances, Zac turned around and went to the grocery room to retrieve the spare
waiter pipe.

Then, under Anika's gaze, she changed the spare water pipe less than two times and solved the
problem of water leakage.

Naturally, Anika did not know that Zac could repair water pipes, and her expression was rather
