Chapter 34

Anika's eyebrows froze slightly.

She tried to recall every memory that she had when she was in high school.Searching for the woman
that Zac had his first puppy love with.

Anika had a bad temper the entire day.

She tried to remember whatever she could but she still couldn't remember Zac's first love.

She didn't think that their would be something really deep between Tony and Zac.

The relationship between them was simply just normal.

‘‘Since Zac couldn't forget his first love, why would he agree to our fake marriage?’’

After being surprised for a long time, she probed more, "So your first love .."

"Is now married,'' Zac said calmly.

Then, he took the bracelet from Anika's palm and placed it back to its original position.

Seeing this, Anika remembered his expression when he was in the living room and sighed, "Then you
...never mind.Have a great day."

Zac could tell that she didn't care about the topic.

He stared at her with his pitch-black eyes, "Have a great day? In your opinion, do I still have a chance
to have that ‘great day’?"

Anika pursed her lips again, attempting to persuade him not to be depressed over his first love's
marriage.

He smiled and followed, "But I still don't think there's a possibility of her getting divorced."

Anika felt that Zac was flirting with her like a true husband and wife.

In the past, he would come to Zac's place for lunch every day.

them with his friends.



Tony hadn't eaten with him for a long time.

However, he didn't come here to eat, but to talk about other things."Boss, the private detective agency I
found earlier seems to have accepted someone else's commission to investigate Shawn and his

shaking his head aimlessly.

Tony just remained surprised by his words and didn't say a word.

Because she didn't need to go to Oliver to sign the contract in the afternoon, Anika got into Sara's car
and went to the construction site in North City to investigate with her.

The two of them followed an engineer for the explanation of the blueprints.

It was almost time for them to get off work when they came back.

Mrs.Steven's underground parking lot was where Sara's red Volkswagen was parked.

They stepped out of the car after opening the door.

Just as they reached the elevator in the parking lot, a familiar face suddenly rushed out from the side,
blocking the two of them at the elevator door.

For more than an hour, Everly Mason had been standing in the stifling parking lot.

Her pale skin was now drenched in a fine layer of sweat.

Her back was saturated in sweat, and her bangs were dripping wet on her forehead.

The receptionist wouldn't let her in since she was looking for Anika.



She had intended to stay there until Anika got off work, but she had just seen Anika exit a Volkswagen.
