Chapter 84

Anika finally pushed open the door to the private room after speaking with Tanner.It was a VIP section
and was very spacious inside.

Aside from Tony and Leo there were also two other people Anika had never seen before.

Tony, who'd been sitting by the door, noticed Anika and immediately stood up.

"Anika, Zac finally took you out,’ he said politely.

"Come on and let me introduce you to them."

Tony showed the other two people at the chess and card tables.

"These are Deon and Finn, are warriors who endured Zac's poison for three years at university!"

Anika smiled and nodded, "Hello."

Finn and Deon both greeted her.But Deon was a little more talkative.

He set the card down and sheepishly said, "Anika looks exactly like I imagined."

Tony snorted softly.

"She was the campus crush.How many boys had a secret crush on her? I did not know Zac would end
up with her in the end.What? Do you have any objections?"

Zac, who was sitting on the other side, glanced at her.

He looked at Anika and pointed to the seat beside him, and said.

"It's too noisy over there.Come here.Anika walked over to Zac's side and sat down without looking at
him.But, just as she sat down, Tony exclaimed, "Hey Anika, that bracelet of yours looks a little familiar"



Anika lowered her gaze and examined the chain around her wrist.

It was the one Zac had always kept with him.

She was unconcerned and smiled as she replied, "The T family item is a best-seller.It's fairly common"

Tony nodded and then clicked his tongue, "Zac, you didn't say that Anika's bracelet looks the same as
the one you snatched from the thief back then."

Anika wanted to explain when she heard Tony's, but he cut her off when he became passionate.

"Anika, you don't know that when I went to the University to see Zac.When he was only a few feet away
from the restaurant, he left me to chase after a thief.He pursued him for over an hour and ended up
stepping into a ditch.

Finally, the thief surrendered and gave all the stolen goods to Zac’ Leo, who had just finished playing a
phone game, raised his eyes and teased, "I can't tell Zac has done such a great deed before”

Tony proudly shook the card in his hand and said, "Oh, that's a joke.

Zac is without a doubt a man of chivalry! We can't afford to see such deception.

We caught a thief and took him to the police station.

The owner of a wallet even requested that the police award him an honorable banner!"Anika was
speechless.

"Did you really step into a ditch?" she asked Zahip who had a puppy-dog expression on his face.

Zac looked down at her and said nothing.

Anika went on, "You even angrily caught the thief.Did you get the banner?"



When he saw the smile in her eyes, Zac's face became expressionless.

He answered Anika helplessly and reluctantly.

‘One day, I would have to sew Tony's mouth together!’ Zac thought.

After coming out of JH, Zac rejected Tony's invitation.

He sat in the car with Anika and went to the villa beside Misty River.

Anika appeared to be in a good mood when Tony had exposed Zac's flaws.

They left early, but they invited Tony and the others to come over to their house another time.

As for Tony, who had received the invitation, he turned around and raised his eyebrows wantonly at
Zac, reaping a lower pressure from the man.

As soon as they reached the villa, Anika walked into the kitchen, took some yogurt from the fridge, and
handed Zac some.

Then he glanced at the air, where the fridge was, and smiled.

He invited the others over for dinner and tried his best to be an excellent host.

Many people were offended by Zac's temper, and he had invited no one over for dinner since he got
married.

Anika had to help him strengthen his friendship with them.

Zac took the yogurt in one hand and placed it in his pocket with the other.



He leaned against the kitchen door and looked at her.

"You are not angry anymore?" he asked, raising his brows.

When Anika heard Tony's story that Zac chased after the thief, the anger she felt disappeared.

She placed her lower lip against him and said, "Actually, if you think about it.I was not really that mad.I
just couldn't hold it back"

In the end, Zac did it because of Kayden’s annoying provocation at the banquet.

The only people who saw that photo were Nataly and the other members of the group chat.

It showed that Zac was still in command.

‘Even if he made me angry, he didn't seem to have crossed the line” If this was her disposition toward
others, she would have made a scene after losing her temper for an entire day, Anika thought.

However, Zac's words seemed to be unbearable.

"Anika, I said you can be angry with me, “ Zac said as he walked forward and touched her head.

‘How could he break his promise to her? To some extent, it relieved Zac that she could be mad at him
because of trivial matters and let it go to face him”he thought.Anika rolled her eyes and suddenly had

Then she smiled and asked, "Can I let you kneel on the washboard?"

Zac's face dropped a little.



He paused for a long time before calmly said, "You must still be mad.You can stay at home.All you
have to do is to be careful and to look around’

He had to keep his dignity outside.But, in Zac's opinion, he did nothing to make Anika mad.

As a result, this chance to kneel on the washboard should not exist.Anika did not stop there.

Instead, she said, "Tanner and I met today at JH.He mentioned that there would be a high school
reunion.Do you want to go?"

"High School Reunion?" Zac raised his eyebrows.

Anika suddenly remembered Zac was always alone in high school and skipped class occasionally, so
his relationship with his classmates was complicated.

Of course, aside from Tony's daily visits, he didn't appear to have any intention of getting along with
others.

Zac quickly nodded and said, "If you want to go, I'll accompany you."
