When she woke up, it was already afternoon local time.

Anika did not sleep much.

When she woke up, she saw that Zac hadn't gotten up yet.

She was afraid of disturbing him, so she left the room and went to the restaurant alone to eat.

After eating, she noticed that there weren't many people in the restaurant.

The menu was mostly seafood.

Anika ordered the Broiled Lobster Tails recommended by the waiter and pasta.

Then she asked, "Is there any special souvenir shop nearby?"

The waiter pondered for a moment before mentioning to her a handicraft shop that made root carvings.

He enthusiastically took out a few photos from his phone and showed them to her.

When she returned to their room after eating, she saw that Zac had changed into a casual outfit, as if
he had just finished washing up.

"You're awake?" Zac said softly.

Seeing that she was picking up the packing on the coffee table, he frowned and asked, "Are you still
going out?"

Anika nodded and smiled at him, "I want to buy some gifts for Nataly and Alena nearby.It's not far from
here.I'll be back soon.You should go to the restaurant to eat first"

"You're not eating?"



"I've already finished eating."

Compared to the previous stereotyped question, this calm appearance seemed to have lost interest in
him.

Zac became more and more confused about her actions.

He paused for a moment and said, "Then I'll accompany you."

Anika paused for a moment before shaking her head, "No need, it’s not far” She did not wait for him to
say anything else.

She just turned around and left the hotel room.

After leaving, Anika secretly heaved a sigh of relief.

When she was in the villa, she was fine.

Now that they were somewhere different and were referring to it as a honeymoon, she was not sure
how to face him.

The bar was half-open.

Anika sat down in front of the bar and looked at the wine list.

"One Pina Colada.’ Although she only saw the bustle and wanted to go back later, she knew how much
she could drink and only ordered a low-alcohol cocktail.

Anika pulled out her phone.

It was Alena's message.

She said, "How was your honeymoon? If you can take advantage of this opportunity to clean up the
mess, then there will probably be no more entanglement."

Alena’s tone was unexpectedly that of an experienced person.

Anika couldn't help but feel a little puzzled.

She took out a bill and handed it to the bartender behind the bar.

She saw a young Asian boy sitting next to her.

The boy was dressed in loose sportswear and had short hair.

His complexion was still green, and he was only around twenty years old.

He was not fluent in Mandarin, and his smile was sincere and straightforward, not annoying.

Just as he walked over, he caught a glimpse of Anika’s phone displaying Chinese.

Anika raised her eyebrows and put the note into the boy's palm, "Here's my payment.’

It was obvious that the boy must be of Chinese descent who grew up abroad.



Foreigners were more sociable, and she had encountered quite a few such conversations when
studying abroad.

Seeing this, the boy paused for a second and changed his attitude.

He smiled and revealed his true colors, "Sis, I don't need so much money.I'll transfer the rest of the
money to you on Viber?"

Anika hasn't said anything yet.

A hand suddenly appeared and grabbed the boy's arm, which he had just used to pull out of his phone.

Anika didn't know how Zac had suddenly appeared.

The boy was suddenly grabbed by someone and seemed to be somewhat dissatisfied.

He blurted out, "What's wrong with you?"

He was already talking in an impolite tone.

Zac's eyes were cold.

His dark and deep eyes looked at the other party and pointed at Anika.

His deep voice contained a warning, "She is my girl."

He did not say ‘my wife’ but he rather said ‘my girl’.

After she heard this, there seemed to be a hint of ambiguity in her ears.

It was a simple reply, but the man’s low and deep voice struck her heart.

Anika clenched her fingertips tightly as she faced Zac's dark eyes.



This sentence reminded her of a movie she had seen before.

In the movie, the heroine asked the hero why he was treating her so well, and the heroine said
seriously, "You're my girl’

At that time, they weren't lovers.

Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and curled her lips.

She held the man’s hand and looked at the boy just now.

"Sorry, I'm married.’ The boy stared at Anika in disbelief.

He then silently sized up the two of them for a few moments before frowning and tidying his clothes.

He said, "I'm sorry.’ Then, he turned around and left somewhat dejectedly.

On the way back, the two of them walked one after the other.

The atmosphere was silent for a long time before Zac, who was walking in front, suddenly stopped in
his tracks.

He turned around and looked at her with dark eyes.

Suddenly, he said, "Nika, are you drunk now?"

Anika looked up at him and shook her head.



She had just had a very low-alcohol cocktail, so she was not drunk.

Zac didn't seem to be at ease.

He then asked, "Can you still remember what you told me a few days ago?"

Anika was slightly stunned and nodded.

The man laughed softly, "Alright"

He breathed a sigh of relief and looked down at her, "What kind of family did you say you wanted us to
be, and why do you think I want to be your family?"

Anika frowned and thought for a while before saying, "We ..get along well."

"Why do I just get along well with you?"

‘Why?’ Anika slightly pursed her lips, raised her eyes to meet his deeper gaze, and subconsciously
clenched her fists.Surrounded by bustling streets, not far from the bar came the rhythmic ballads of the
band.

Amidst the cheers, it was as if they were the only ones standing still, standing outside the clamor.

The man's voice was clear in her ears ...
