of control. Even though it doesn’t have much impact on me, the magazine publisher has a lot to
consider. So I’m wondering if you could hold a press conference for Cindy and me to step forward and
explain the matter this time.” After a moment’s pause, she added, “It’ll be better if Mrs. Morgan can be
present too.”



In reality, Ian didn’t think it was necessary to go to such lengths. “The place where we previously met
should have CCTV installed, so the matter this time can be explained away once the surveillance
footage is found and released. We have nothing to do with each other. We just need to let the facts
speak for themselves.”

Yulia fell silent on the other end of the line. She couldn’t make it clear that her purpose wasn’t to clarify

It was late, so Ian hung up after talking to Yulia. He wasn’t sleepy at all as he sat on the bed with his
cell phone in his hand.

It wasn’t that he was unwilling to help Yulia. However, once a press conference was held, not only
would Cindy get involved, but even Aurora might be dragged into this. He didn’t wish to see things

Ian was grateful that Yulia had thought of him when she had job resources, but these job resources
weren’t enough reason for him to put those around him at risk for Yulia’s sake. He didn’t care whether

He sat on the bed for a while. As he still wasn’t sleepy at all, he got up and left the room. It was
