aimlessly like this—you don’t have any family or friends in the city, after all. Where are you? I’ll come to
you. You can tell me everything! I’ve always taken you as part of our family, so there’s no need to be
shy with me.”

Cindy stood on the street as she stared at the busy passersby. Aurora’s final sentence suddenly
brought tears to her eyes.

In the end, she told Aurora the location of the hotel she’d spent the night in.

Before she could say anything else, Aurora assured her, “Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone about this. I’ll
