Ian was drinking a bottle of water in front of the fridge when he heard the door open, so he turned
around to look.

When he saw Cindy coming back alone, he was startled for a moment. “You came back alone?”

At the same time, he glanced at the door and saw that she was indeed alone since she had already
closed the door.She was now standing at the door with her hands hanging on both sides while she
stared at him with slightly furrowed brows.

brows and countered, “I don’t think so.” Then, he came toward Cindy and said, “However, I have a
feeling that Peter likes you.”

last time?”

Ian sat down opposite her. “You seem quite proud about it.”



“Of course I am, because it proves that I’m attractive.” After that, she giggled and continued, “What is
it? Are you not happy about it?”

At that, he answered her question. “Yes. I’m not happy about it.”

Listening to his answer, Cindy licked her lips. Although she pretended to be calm on the outside, she
could feel that her heart was actually beating at a rapid rate and her breathing was in complete
disorder.

She had never been this excited in her life.

A few seconds later, she finally asked, “Why are you not happy about it?”

Ian remained silent for a moment as he finally understood why she came back all by herself. Looks like
she wants to clear up everything with me.

He always knew that even though she was gentle, she was definitely not a weak person.

From how agitated she was when arguing with him in the past, he could tell that she wasn’t a
submissive person.

Maybe my actions in the past two days have really troubled her, so she wants to make everything clear.

As he thought about it, he leaned forward, moving even closer to her. “Can’t you tell?”



However, Cindy didn’t avoid him this time. Even though his penetrating eyes were still overwhelming to

Listening to her, Ian restrained his expression and pursed his lips.
