while? Why did you follow me down?”



Ian tried his best to sound calm and nice. “You haven’t even had your breakfast. Why can’t you guys
talk a little later?”

She forced a smile as she reached an arm around to hug Ian’s waist. “That’s true. I haven’t had
breakfast,” she uttered as she turned to look at Peter. “I’ll remember what you told me earlier, and I’ll
pay a little more attention to it when I play badminton in the future. Is there anything else you’d like to
tell me? If not, then I’ll head home now.”

Since Ian was there, Peter couldn’t say anything else, so he merely nodded. Cindy applied some
pressure onto Ian’s waist as she pushed him out of the gazebo. As they walked next to each other, it
seemed as if they were a loving couple, but things didn’t look as sweet when one looked at the sour
expressions on their faces.
