Since you made a promise, you should go. We’re not really in the mood, so we’ll just stay here. It’ll be
impolite for us to show up with our frowns anyway.”

She was pretty apparent as her words bore neither satire nor aggression.

After hesitating for a while, Cindy eventually gave in to their decision.

She nodded. “Okay. I’ll be back as soon as possible.”
