Yulia? I’m not that close to her so there’s no way I would call or text her in the middle of the night!”

Meanwhile, Cindy paused for a moment and shifted her body slightly so that she could look at him from
a much more convenient angle.



She recalled everything carefully and realized that in actual fact, he hadn’t mentioned that the person
who called and texted was Yulia.

However, Cindy couldn’t figure out who else it could be, other than Yulia. It can’t be Logan, right? He
has a wife and kids so I don’t think he would call or text Ian in the middle of the night!

Just then, Ian withdrew his hands from Cindy’s face and he placed both his hands on each side of her
body, thereafter leaning in toward her.

At that moment, Cindy was significantly shocked by his actions. Right now, she was quite afraid of him.
He seemed to relish in approaching her quite closely at his whim and there was nowhere else she
could move to get away from him.

The close proximity that they were in had exceeded their safe distance and she felt quite insecure
