identity allows me to plan anything too grand. Why don’t we just get some of our friends and family
together for a meal? That’ll be our engagement party. What do you think?”

Cindy had no requirements for her engagement—she didn’t even see it as necessary. She would much
rather get married immediately. “We’ll go with your plan,” she uttered while nodding.

He smiled. “My plan says that we should just make our marriage official. Would you be okay with that?”



She wasn’t the least bit embarrassed. “If I say that I’m okay with that, would you get too shocked to
give me a response?”

He raised an eyebrow. “Are you looking down on me?”

“I’d never dare to do that,” she replied. Ian let out a hearty laugh before he continued speaking.
“There’s no rush. You can answer me once you’re done thinking,” he stated.

She curled her lips into a smirk as she looked at him. It seems like he isn’t going to give in at all. The
couple stared at each other for a long while. The other passengers had already started getting out of
the plane after it landed.

Ian pulled Cindy out of her seat. “Come on. Let’s go home and continue with this pointless topic.” Once
they got out of the plane and called a cab home, they found Aurora waiting for them with a table full of
dishes.
