Chapter 1491 Sure Enough, They Did It on Purpose

However, Samuel did not say anything. He only glanced at Xander and found that he was sitting there
calmly whispering something to Audrey. Then, Samuel shook Nicole's hand and said, "You are not
strong in the first place especially after all this trouble. Now after the meal, you can go back to your
room to rest."

"I..."

Originally, Nicole wanted to say a few words to her parents, but seeing the two so intimate, she really

"Your mommy is not well, so she can't hug you. Stay on my laps."

Hearing Samuel's words, Lucas wore a scornful expression. He really didn't want to sit on Samuel's
laps, and he had no intention of letting Nicole hug him.

Samuel say, "You sleep here tonight."

"Are you suspecting my parents?"

"Alright."

laps and went to his room.

"This herb won't hurt Nicole, right? She is pregnant."

It was Audrey's voice.

"It's fine. This medicine is mild and will only help her sleep more peacefully. Let's send them out
sometime tomorrow. It's not safe here after all."

Xander said in a low voice.

Audrey looked at Nicole gently and walked out with Xander.

Samuel's eyes suddenly opened.

But why?

Both Xander and Audrey were Nicole's family. What was the purpose of doing this? Was there anything
else that they couldn't tell them? Why did they do this?

Samuel had personally experienced the pain of being hurt by someone close to him. He didn't want
Nicole to suffer, so he had to find out what Xander and Audrey were trying to hide from them.

Silence returned.

Samuel gently lifted the quit, but was grabbed gently by a little hand.

"Nicole?"

She was pretending to be asleep!

don't act rashly. I won't go with you but stay here and wait for you with our son."

Nicole's trust for him warmed Samuel's heart.

"You should also take care of yourself."



Although he was certain that Xander and Audrey would not do anything harmful to Nicole, yet what if
