Chapter 1787: She Has hypoglycemia

Julian vented his anger on Penny and finally calmed down. On the other side, after Lucas finished his
revenge, he turned off the computer. When he looked back, he saw Yasmeen looking at him
obsessively. Lucas felt his heart was fulfilled with a man’s self-esteem and vanity.

“Am I handsome?”

His voice was magnetic.

Yasmeen nodded unconsciously. However, Yasmeen realized that she wasn’t reserved at all, so she
blushed as soon as she did it.

Back then, when she was chasing after Lucas, she was pretty bold. Now, she had become his
girlfriend, but she was shyer.

Lucas curled up his lips into a smile, stood up, and walked to Yasmeen.

The shadow of his tall figure made her heart beat fast.

“Are you done? Shall we leave now?”

Yasmeen hurriedly stood up, but Lucas walked up and trapped her between his chest and the chair.

“What... What are you doing?”

Yasmeen’s heart was racing. She could even smile at the pleasant scene from Lucas’s body, feeling
quite nervous.

Lucas looked at her cowardly face, reached out, and poked her cheek. With a smile, he said, “You are
so timid. How dare you declare you want to pursue me?”

“It was me who took the initiative to pursue you in the past.”



Yasmeen lacked confidence while speaking.

Lucas had his kicks when teasing her. He bent over, scaring her to move backward. However, the next
second, Yasmeen found that Lucas was carrying her in his arms.

She was taken aback.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

“Carrying you out.”

“No way! We’re in Uncle Morty’s house. What will he think if seeing us like this?”

Yasmeen felt her cheeks were burning so much.

She wondered what had happened to Lucas.

Was he doing PDA?

Showing Uncle Morty?

She wondered if Lucas was out of his mind.

If Uncle Morty saw them, he might kick them out directly.

Yasmeen struggled, but Lucas didn’t change his mind at all. He directly carried her out of Michele’s
room.

Morty was worried. When seeing Lucas came out while carrying Yasmeen, he was agape.

“What happened?”

“She has hypoglycemia,” Lucas lied calmly.



Yasmeen was too embarrassed to explain.

She could only lower her head, bit her bottom lip, and pretend to be a hypoglycemia patient.

Morty didn’t know if it was real or not. Seeing that Yasmeen was spiritless, he hurriedly said, “Are you
starved? You didn’t have anything on the plane, right? I’ll ask the kitchen to prepare some food for you
guys.”

“No, thanks, Uncle Morty. I’ll take her to a restaurant. Besides, I need to update Edition about the
condition here,” Lucas refused.

He had seen how uneasy Yasmeen felt when staying with her.

Morty paused a bit. Then he noticed a trace of concern flashing through Lucas’s eyes. He understood
right away.

“All right. Go ahead. I won’t keep you staying then. Come to have dinner next time.”

“Okay, Uncle Morty. If you do care about me, please transfer my residential record out,” Lucas took the
chance and said.

Morty was slightly taken aback. It wasn’t until then did he recall that Lucas’s residential record was still
in the military region. In the past, he had thought Lucas would stay in the military region forever, so he
transferred Lucas’s residential record to the military region directly. Later, he didn’t pay much attention

leaving.

The more Lucas spoke, the less pleased Morty was.

“What are you talking about? It’s just a residential record. I can have the final say. Besides, you’ve
made so many contributions to the military region. How could they kick your residential record out? Just
let it be. I don’t think others have the balls to make a fuss on this matter.”

Lucas was touched by how protective Morty was to him. However, he said in depression, “Uncle Morty,
I want to register for marriage. I can’t do it without my residential record.”

Upon hearing it, not only Morty but also Yasmeen was stunned.

“What did you say?”

After Morty finished asking, he realized what question did he ask.

“Have your parents approved?”

“Not yet. I plan to take Yasmeen back to her country and meet Uncle Steven. Then I’ll propose to marry
her,” Lucas told Morty about his plan.

Morty was like his godfather, so he didn’t need to hide anything from him.

When Yasmeen heard that Lucas would take her back home, tears welled up in her eyes. She had a
feeling that, at last, her happiness had come along.

Morty was silent for a moment. He said, “Even if I promised you to transfer your residential record, your
resign application hasn’t been approved yet.”

“What happened?”

Lucas was confused.



Morty shook his head and explained, “The resignation report hasn’t been sent to me yet, so you are still
a soldier theoretically. Moreover, if you want to resign, further reports will be submitted only after the
release of the resignation report. As you know, it’s a strict procedure in the military, so I can’t open a
back door for you at all. Why so hurry? A gunshot marriage?”

Yasmeen blushed instantly. She hurriedly denied, “No, it’s not.”

report, I’ll transfer your residential record right away. Lucas, you shouldn’t be afraid I’ll stop you from

Morty directly patted Lucas.

With a smile, Lucas carried Yasmeen in his arms while walking out of the Hill’s.

Yasmeen felt so sweet, as if her heart were soaked in the honey jar.

“Are you going to marry me, Lucas?”

“Ehn.”

“I haven’t said yes.”

Yasmeen faked being proud rarely.



Lucas said with a faint smile, “Who’s the woman chasing after for two decades but refusing to say yes
to me now? Why? Yasmeen, do you have a marriage phobia? We’re grownups now. If we delayed our
wedding, we would turn thirty soon. If you become an old girl, I might not want to marry you.”

“You are the old one. I’m only twenty-five, all right? What do you mean, Lucas? Do you want to regret
it?”

As she spoke, Yasmeen was panicked. She directly reached out to pinch Lucas’s ear.

Lucas didn’t resist. He said, “I want to regret it, but I haven’t gained your permission yet. Besides, there
should be a probation period for me to hesitate. Are you sure you’ll continue pinching my ear?”

“What’s wrong about pinching your ear? I’m gonna swallow you alive!”

Yasmeen bit him in anger. Since she was in his arms, she coincidentally bit his sensitive spot from her
height and angle. They both were taken aback, feeling a current flowing through their bodies, which
