Chapter 5: Give Him Up

It was almost dinner time, and Danica had volunteered to cook a few dishes since it would be the last
time she would eat with them.She agreed to Terrence's request to accompany him for a meal.

However, she didn't expect Theo to go into the kitchen and block her way when she was about to go
out.

Theo's eyes were enraged like fire when he looked at her.

She also noticed the chest part of his suit was stained with tea leaves as if someone had purposely
splashed tea on him.

Theo drastically dragged her without saying anything.

Danica was too shocked to react but tried to free herself from his grip.

"What are you doing?" Danica asked as she kept on struggling to get loose.

However, Theo gripped her wrist tighter and gritted his teeth.

"You really had the guts to bring the divorce to grandpa, huh, Danica? How dare you do that? Don't you
have any consideration? Do you have any idea how his health condition is right now?" Theo roared.

Danica tried to pull her wrist, but Theo was very strong, so she helplessly stopped protesting.

"I just thought that since we are going to divorce, we should inform him.If you think I'm just making a
fuss, think whatever you want.I just did it because I respect your grandpa so much" she explained and
tried to move again.

The maids immediately left as soon as Theo walked in, leaving them alone in the huge kitchen.

Theo looked at her stubborn and slightly annoying face.



She was so persistent in divorcing him as if she no longer wanted to be close to him.

It made Theo boil in anger.

He initially planned to drag Danica out, but Theo changed his mind when he saw how desperate she
was to be free from his grip.

"What are you trying to do?" Danica asked with a mixture of anger and fear in her voice.

Theo let out a playful grin before saying, "I just wanted to pull you outside, but it seemed that you
wanted me to do it here.Then, okay.Let's do it here as you wish."

He quickly unbuckled his belt.

‘Are you crazy?"

Danica’s face turned pale, and her eyes widened in disbelief as she realized what Theo was planning
to do.

Several times before, when she did something that upsets Theo, he would first look at her
emotionlessly, and then he would toss her into the bed to ruthlessly punish her.

At that moment, his expression was exactly the same.

Danica couldn't help but feel scared, and the urge to get away from him grew stronger.

Before she could move again, Theo had already pressed her against the door.

Danica desperately resisted and was about to cry.

"Let go of me!"



Her voice started to crack.

Instead of letting her go, Theo just quickly moved and positioned himself behind her.

"If you want everyone in the house to hear what we are doing, then just scream.But I don't think anyone
will dare to stop us.After all, we are still husband and wife." His voice was so cold, making her shiver.

Danica couldn't hold her tears and burst into a silent cry.

She felt like she had died for a moment.She had never thought that Theo could do this to her and
wondered when this embarrassing moment would end.

Theo was so eager to take her at the kitchen of the old house.

He didn't care if someone would see them for as long as he could punish her and made her feel that
she was only for pleasure.

"I really hate you, Theo!" Danica yelled at him after freeing herself from his grip.

She tidied her messy clothes and, with puffy eyes, looked at him for the last time before running away.

Theo was left standing with a tightened jaw, watching her fade away.

‘Do you really think you can overpower me?’ Theo sneered inwardly.

He wasn't really planning to take her in the kitchen.He just wanted to teach her a lesson because his
ego was badly hurt at what she did.

And since that was the plan, Theo didn't chase after her.

Danica went to Celestie in a sorry state and with her mind filled with what had happened.



She didn't know what would happen next, but she knew she couldn't continue like this.

‘I really need to divorce Theo as soon as possible.Otherwise, he would keep on using my body
whenever he wanted!’ Danica had become more determined.

Days passed, and Theo still ignored her request for a divorce.

He didn't cooperate with her, so she thought of a way to force him to do so.It was Saturday night and
the Dalton family's company anniversary.

The place was full of celebrities, media from different stations, and rich and influential businessmen.

Venice was also there, sitting beside Theo.

Almost everyone knew that the Dalton family's company had a branch of film productions.

It was rumored that Theo was protecting Venice to remain on the top.

Venice had become the most popular and in-demand actress in the acting industry.

Since Theo and Danica's marriage was held secretly, only a few of their family members and friends
knew about it.

Outsiders always thought that Theo was single, so rumors about him and Venice circulated.

People couldn't help but get curious if those were true.

They were just waiting for a confirmation, and it would turn out to be an interesting topic that would be
covered in magazines and news articles.

Halfway through the live show, Theo, Venice, and a few of the high-profile members of the Dalton
family went up to the stage.



They all participate in the announcement of a new movie to be released.

After the announcement, just as Theo was about to leave the stage, a soft and pleasant voice called
him, "President Dalton, wait a minute.
