"Venice!"

Venice's hand did not reach Danica's face as Theo stopped her halfway.

Theo grabbed Venice's wrist and shouted in anger, "What are you doing?!"

"Theo, why did she come here in the middle of the night to talk to you about work? Have you forgotten
how she fooled you?"

Danica was thankful for Theo's assistance in blocking Venice's hand.

"I asked her to come here" he said to Venice seriously.

Venice could not believe what she had just heard.

She didn't think of Theo as the type of man who would invite a woman to his office in the middle of the
night to discuss work.

What was worst was that this woman was his ex-wife, the same ex-wife that he once looked down on.

Danica did not care if Venice believed Theo or not, but she tried to explain in a calm way, "Venice, the
moment that I decided to divorce him, I already forgot everything about us.I don't have plans to go back
in his life nor interfere with his affairs.I've never imagined crossing paths with him again."

"If you could live a happy life on your own, then you should just focus on yourself.Theo is a selfish man
with an excessive amount of confidence.I really despise him"

"To be honest, I don't give a damn about President Dalton.Who cares if he's wealthy and attractive? If
he's uncaring, none of it really matters."

Danica used this opportunity to establish the boundary between herself and Theo so that Venice would
stop targeting her anymore.

Danica was only focused on her career.

She believed that People like Theo and Venice should just mind their own business and should stop
bothering her.

If Theo wanted to marry someone, he should go ahead and do it.
