Chapter 6: I Hate You

The voice was very familiar to Theo.It sounded like Danica.

And when he turned, his guess was correct.

The moment he saw her, astonishment and admiration automatically flashed through his eyes.

The crowd below also got mesmerized by her beauty.

Almost all were now staring at her, holding a microphone, and slowly walking up to the stage.Her face
was unfamiliar to most guests, but her beauty caught everyone's attention.She wore a long red dress
that perfectly hugged and emphasized the curves of her body.

It was so beautiful and elegant, as if the dress was made just for her.

Many beautiful and famous female celebrities were present, but her beauty stood out among all those
women.

The event organizer tried to stop her, but Danica said something that stunned everyone.

"My name is Danica Sierra, but I'm President Dalton's wife.Technically, I am Mrs.Dalton now.I want to
say a few words to President Dalton, so please let me speak for a while." The audience gasped in
shock.

'President Dalton's wife? So he was actually married and not single at all?’ A lot of questions were
forming in everyone's minds.

They looked at her suspiciously as she stood on the stage.

They thought that she was just making things up, but seeing Theo only standing there with a cold face
and didn't bother to correct her, they finally believed her.



‘Since President Dalton was married, what was his relationship with Venice?’ Another question pooped
out their minds.

‘Is she a mistress?’ Curiosity was visible in everyone's faces as their eyes moved to Theo, Venice, and
Danica.

While everyone was still shocked, Danica had spoken again.

"But I won't be Mrs.Dalton soon." Her voice was soothing and calm, as if she wasn't making a huge
revelation.

This time, everyone was more shocked.

Danica had just announced that she was Theo's wife, and then the next second, she said that she
wouldn't be his wife soon.

However, everyone remained silent and waited for her to continue.

Danica slowly walked towards Theo with a document in her hand.

On the other hand, Theo suddenly had a bad intuition when he saw the paper in her hands.

True to what Theo thought, Danica calmly said to him, "Theo, let's get a divorce.This is the divorce
agreement that I requested from my lawyer.Don't worry.I won't ask anything from your family's
property.I will leave the house and bring nothing with me"

She looked at him straight in the eyes and handed the document with a smile.

Theo welcomed her gaze with anger that he gritted his teeth.

"Danica." He only mumbled her name, but his tone was full of warning.



However, Danica seemed unaffected.

Theo was so busy thinking about getting even with her that he did not realize that she threw the paper
directly onto his face.

When he realized what she had done, Theo almost exploded in anger.

"Goodbye, Theo.I wish you and the woman you dreamed of grow old together and live happily ever
after she said sincerely.

Then, lifting the hem of her dress, she turned to leave.

But she turned again and said with a smile, "Oh, right, I forgot to tell you.President Dalton, see you at
the Civil Affairs Bureau at eight-thirty tomorrow morning.Please don't ditch me this time."

All the guests broke the silence and had different reactions.

Some were still gasping in shock, and some were murmuring to each other.

While Theo just stood on the stage completely speechless.

His deep and dangerous eyes were fixed on the back of the calm and elegant woman in a red dress
who was slowly walking away from him.

‘Damn!’ He cursed silently after realizing what Danica did to him in front of many people.

He had been in the business world for years, and no one had dared to humiliate him in public like this.

Danica was the first, and he had never thought she could do such a thing.



He had been with Danica for three years, but he never knew that she had such a strong side that she
could fight a man like him, nor did he expect that she could dress up elegantly like that.

He was blown away by her sudden change that made him speechless and unable to react.

After Danica's shocking revelation that created a commotion, everyone thought Theo would burst into
anger and cancel the event.

But he remained calm and ordered everyone to continue the party.

Then, he left the stage without changing his expression.

For this reason, everyone couldn't help but feel impressed with him.

For them, Theo was indeed not an ordinary person because no matter what the situation was, he could
deal with it calmly.

He had great patience and knew how to control his emotions.He was already humiliated in front of
many people, yet he remained composed and calm.

Then their thoughts went back to the woman in a red dress.

For them, Mrs.Dalton was really beautiful despite the cold expression.

She was dazzling, which caught everyone's attention, and her revelation made them unable to forget
her.

"Theo, are you okay?" Venice asked the moment Theo went back to sit beside her.

Theo just pursed his lips and didn't say anything.



Venice complained and said, "Danica is too insensitive.Why is she making a scene here? Did she even
think of what you would feel? Is she even aware of your status in this industry?"
