Chapter 27: She Is Lying

Olive looked back and looked at his face very carefully. He was good-looking, elegant and had natural
curly black hair. She could not find the the man in her memory. She shook her head. "I'm sorry. I don't
seem to have any impression."

Sometimes, she was not good at taking advantage of this opportunity to establish a relationship with
other people.

"Did you graduate from Jiangcheng University?" Dave asked again.

Olive nodded. "Yes, I have graduated more than five years."

Dave laughed.”That's it. I graduated from there too. We are alumni. I'm your senior, two years senior to
your grade. Maybe we’ve passed by before.”

"Really? That's a bit of a coincidence. Nice to meet you, Mr. Harrod." Olive stretched out her hand
generously and shook with him.

She had to say that this was an exciting and unexpected news.

"Are you a native of Luo city?" Dave asked again.

"I was born and grow up here." Olive laughed.

Dave also smiled gently. "It seems that if I have time, I can find you as my guide in Luo city."

"No problem." Olive answered simply. Subrina, took a fancy to this man. And at that time, she could call
her out together to create opportunities for them to get along, and she found another chance to slip
away.

Olive felt that she has the potential to be a matchmaker.



After a few talks, water boiled. Olive made coffee and put it to Alan's desk.

When Alan worked, he looked very serious. He has read the company's reports which were for more
than ten years carefully. The perfect profile always made her feel unreal in the backlight.

A few minutes later, the phone on the desk rang and she just answered and said hello. His voice came
over. "Come down. I'll wait for you in the underground parking lot."

Olive was stunned. He waited for her? what did he want to do? Although she was doubtful, she still
dared not neglect. Who was he? He paid her to make a living.

She quickly tidied up the desk, and turned off the computer. She had a lesson from the past. She set
up a more complex password for the computer. Reality taught her that one shouldn’t had the heart to
harm others, but must be vigilant so as not to be harmed.

Alan put his hands on the steering wheel and looked at the direction of her arrival in a daze.



Rather than installing a monitor to prevent people from idling, he wanted to observe her in secret. She
was like an iron magnet, and that night's stunning appearance attracted all his attention.

In the surveillance screen, he saw that she looked a bit green around the gills all day. Although she
pretended to be fine, she could not hide her sickness on the face. He also watched her blowing her
nose with paper towels, and she was throwing away a trash basket. By the afternoon, her illness
became more and more serious. He could not bear to see it any longer.

Stupid woman, sick like this, didn't know to ask for leave.

Olive somewhat puzzled to take the elevator to the parking lot. In the dim light, there was a car turning
on the headlights. She walked over, through the open window, and asked, "Mr. Hoyle, what can I do for
you?"

"Get on the car." Alan left her two words coldly.

Olive was confused and was about to ask where they were going. Alan had lost his patience and got
out, opened the back door and dragged her into the car.

Olive was vertiginous. Why he was so angry? Seeing that he was in a bad mood, she shut up. He
drove the car quickly along the road.

Until they went to the hospital, Olive was shocked. "Mr. Hoyle, what's wrong with you? Are you sick?"

"I'm fine. It's you who's not comfortable."

considerate. She felt warm in her heart, but somewhat she was a little embarrassment.



Alan didn’t want to talk nonsense with her. He almost took her and asked the doctor to give her a
needle.

Dropping bottles hanging above the hospital bed, Olive lay obediently under the pressure of his
powerful aura. She felt that the ways which he treated her seemed to be beyond the ordinary
relationship between superiors and subordinates. Just she trying to think deeply, he, standing in front of
the window, answered a telephone. It broke her a little fantasy.

She heard him calling the name of the person on the other end of the phone very intimately, "Ophelia."

Ophelia.

This was the name she would never forget in her life, and it was also her nightmare.

"Well, I see... I'll finish work here as soon as possible and hurry back to ... Don't worry about it... Pay

Alan hung up the phone and sat down on the chair beside the bed. His legs overlapped and he was
idle and charming inexplicably.



"I heard that you graduated from Jiangcheng University?"

Olive's eyelids jumped, but when she saw him careless expression, she could not help laughing at
herself in her heart. Maybe he had forgotten his promise. She could not associate too much with his
casual question.

After all, promises couldn't support her for living. As time went by, people's minds would change.
