Chapter 388 Hunters and the Yellow Bird

Alan Hoyle waited patiently.

“The noodle’s good, so is the beef. Where did you buy it?” Kent Bai hadn’t eaten authentic rice noodle

Kent Bai’s face changed when he heard the question, “Let’s not talk about this. I’ve never seen a
woman so stubborn that she doesn’t yield to persuasion or coercion. Let’s talk about you. When things
are over, what are you going to do with Ophelia? To say the least, she’s also your childhood friend.”

“Childhood friend?” Alan Hoyle sneered, “She doesn’t deserve that nickname.”

“Watch her for me. Don’t let her play her tricks or else, I will let her spend the rest of her life in prison.”

“You’re so heartless.” Kent Bai said, “At least, she is crazy about you.”

responsible for each one?”

to be responsible for each one.

Bai, the woman he loved asked him to piss off. What clownery was this?

Kent Bai smiled through the pain and went back to his senses.

“Not much. This old fox is bitching around and he’s proud about it. He hypocritically invested his money
in Hoyle Group and secretly established a company to buy shares of Hoyle Group and sell it to W.T. He
thought that he had done it perfectly, but in fact, we saw it through. After earning a lot of money from
W.T., Finn Meyer put a lot of money in Southeast Asian Market. He didn’t know that we’re digging a

Alan Hoyle laughed, “Sometimes you do. If she stays by your side, she will put her guard up all the

way? You have to learn a thing or two from me. She has to meet Olive. I’ll ask Olive to speak on your

“I cannot afford to exile myself on a dessert island for a month.” it was hard for him to believe it.

After leaving the hotel, Alan Hoyle didn’t rush back to rest. Instead, he asked Ophelia Meyer out and
called Mrs. Hoyle.

He sat at a quiet corner in the coffee shop and waited patiently.

At a distance, he saw Ophelia Meyer coming up with his mother, chatting and laughing like an innocent
girl. Her demeanor was confusing. People who didn’t know her would think that she was a simple girl
with a simple mind.

Mrs. Hoyle was still upset with Alan Hoyle. She saw down with ugly face, “Is the sun rising from the
west today? When you take a break from accompanying your precious woman, you ask you mother
and your abandoned fiancé for coffee.”

“Was it you yesterday?” Alan Hoyle lifted his eyes and looked at her faintly.

“I don’t follow. What are you talking about?” Ophelia Meyer said.

"You don’t understand? You did something to Olive’s car and almost killed three lives. Do you want me
to say it clearly?” Alan Hoyle reminded her.

Mrs. Hoyle didn’t believe it, “How is that possible? Ophelia was with me yesterday. She never left my
side.”

“I met Olive in Baohua Temple yesterday, but I was with mother all the time. I never left her side. Alan, I
know you don’t like me, but it doesn’t mean that you can blindly accuse me”



Alan Hoyle was disgusted. When he looked at her face, he felt disgusted, “This is my mother, not
yours.”

Ophelia Meyer’s face turned black and blue, she was at loss for words.

Mrs. Hoyle slammed the table, “If you still consider me as your mother, don’t talk to Ophelia like this.”

“Mom, I know that you have a woman for me in your heart, but my wife by law is Olive. You shouldn’t
embarrass yourself. Don’t blame me for not reminding you.”

His light glance made Ophelia Meyer shivered.

Mrs. Hoyle’s face didn’t look any better. Although his statement was understandable, but his attitude
pissed her off, “Do you invite us to come today to accuse us? Do you think I’m involve in this?”

Ophelia Meyer wiped her tears, she asked, “Olive had an accident and you suspected me without any
evidence. It’s true that Olive Steele and I are enemies, but are you sure that I’m the only one she
offended?”

“It’s best not to let me find out that it has something to do with you.” Alan Hoyle gave her a warning
look. He got up and walked away. The question somehow reminded him that there was another person
who had motive to retaliate against Olive Steele.
