Chapter 521: Late at Night&##x27;s Whispers

Mrs. Steele answered, “Not long ago, Alan was sitting in the living room with a few photos with him,
looking at them repeatedly. I took a lot and saw the jade pendant in it. I thought it was you who took the
photo for him. So, I asked and just knew that the jade pendant in the photo is the Geve’s keepsake. So

“Damn you. Go away.” Chloe rolled her eyes.

Mrs. Steele had long used to this kind of rude but intimate argument between the two children.



“What are you guys talking? So lively.” Mr. Steele just brought back Annie who was tired from playing
outside. As soon as he entered home, he heard the noise of his two daughters.

Chloe laughed, “We’re talking about Annie has another grandparents.”

“Grandparents? Who?” The little kid was confused.

Chloe poked her little nose. “You’ll know soon.”

“Kay!” The little kid didn’t ask more and ran to the bathroom, slamming close the door. She was looking
in a hurry.

Olive stood up and said to her dad, “Dad, thank you too.”

When Alan returned, it was already midnight. He pushed the door open and saw the lamp’s yellow light
beside their bed hit his wife’s face. The air seemed to be filled with a quiet and peaceful atmosphere
that it immediately dissipated his exhaustion.

“It’s late. Why aren’t you asleep yet?”

Olive sat on the bed and leaned against the pillow, looking up from the book she was reading. “Waiting
for you.”

Alan hugged her from behind, rubbing her warm belly with his big palm. Inside it, the pregnant woman
was holding his and her second child.

“Don’t forget that you’re a pregnant woman now. You can’t stay up late. You really don’t listen.”

Olive closed the book, turned around and hugged him. She pitifully said, “You’re my sleeping pill. I can’t
sleep without you. What should I do?”



Her pretty face was mixed with a contradictory laziness. As if it had some magic power, Alan couldn’t
help but leaned down and kissed her lips.

Seeing her blushing face and the gleaming moist on her lips, he smiled. “There. Can you sleep now?”

waistline.

She was trembling under his fingertips and Olive realized that now their baby was in her belly, she
seemed to grow more sensitive from his caressing.

“Don’t be cheeky. It’s late. Go take a shower and I’ll prepare your clothes on the chair.”

“Okay.” Alan kissed her forehead, got up and went to the bathroom.

When he came back, Olive had already put the book on the side of the bed, closing her eyes and
resting. He thought she was already asleep and got on the bed lightly, fearing of awakening her.

But as soon as he laid down, her hands hugged his waist.

“You’re not asleep?”

“Honey, I’ve hidden such a big secret from you. Why aren’t you blaming me?”

baby in your stomach.”

“Don’t worry. Your son isn’t much bigger than a soya bean nib now. He won’t be influenced.” Wasn’t it
too early to talk about this? Even if this was a prenatal education, he didn’t need to be so nervous.

“Is there something you want to tell me?” It was late and she was pregnant. Alan thought it would be
better to end this love story earlier. Pregnant woman needed to rest earlier.

But Olive turned over and laid on her back. Her fingers clasped in front of her belly. “I suddenly change

“Huh?”

“How’s your mother?”
