Chapter 442: A Compromise

“Yes, I won’t leave anymore. Next semester, a new teacher will take over my job. My parents are old
now and not in good health. I’ve stayed here for several years already, it’s time to go back and take
care of them.”

There was some hint of reluctance in Flora’s voice and she was a little blaming herself. But she soon
changed into a ridiculous tone.

Angel Hotel.”

you’re the president now. Since we’re best friends, you’ll never treat me unfairly, right?”

Flora was laughing and joking on the phone, making Olive to rebuke, “You really like to tease me.
When you come back, call me first. Chloe and I will go to the station to pick you up.”

“Okay. I’ll call you too even if you don’t say it. Don’t forget to drive a Lamborghini or something so that I
can also taste what it’s like to sit a luxury car.”

“You tease me again. Alan doesn’t like driving luxury cars and is relatively a low-profile person. So, I
can’t satisfy you with a Lamborghini!”

Through the long phone line, Olive could see the image of a woman with twinkling eyes and drooling.

Olive was touched, “Flora, I suddenly have an idea.”

“What?”

“I now have 10% shares of the Angel Hotel. I want to use 7% of the annual dividends to set up a charity
fund to help those children in need. After you come back, run and manage this fund for me. What do
you think?”

Those shares weren’t what she wanted to accept initially. Now, as Flora accidentally reminded her, she
felt that they could be used to do some good deeds, taking it as to accumulate the old man’s kindness
a little.

Flora gaped, “You’re not joking with me, are you?”

“Do I look like I’m joking? Or, you don’t want to?” Olive wanted to roll her eyes at her. Too bad, she
could only hear her and couldn’t see her for the time being.

“Says who? I’m simply delighted. But, you have to pay me a salary because I’m working for you.” After
an excited shout, Flora returned to her joke.

“You!” Olive helplessly laughed. “When you come back, we’ll discuss the details.”

“Okay, okay. It’s better to get your man to sponsor more. Good people are rewarded,” Flora chuckled.



After ending the call with Flora, Olive called Alan and shared her thoughts with him.

Thinking about it, she thought that she wasn’t familiar with the fund. She needed to find someone who
knew about this and gave her some advices. And he felt omnipotent in her eyes. He knew a lot and
coupled with a bunch of capable people under him. It seemed there weren’t many problems that could
hold him back.

With such a powerful man as a backing, she wasn’t afraid in managing the hotel. Her decision and
actions had always been clean and efficient.

Flora was right. It was great to have an influential person. She was actually in his light.

Alan was a little surprised by her decision, but didn’t object. What he wasn’t lack most of was money

Flora was pulling a long face, “My mother has already given me a death order. If I don’t get one for her
this year, she won’t allow me to enter the house.”

“You should really start to think about your own problem. Chloe has fallen in love for the second time
now, and you’re still alone. I’m worried.”

together?”

Olive groaned, “Would I lie?”

“No problem.”
