Chapter 396: Crazy for Love

After she agreed to be his girlfriend, he became afraid to violate her body. He only dared to kiss her
after he had her consent.

Suddenly, “Woman, do you want to murder your husband?” he asked frantically.

“I don’t want to take pill.” She smiled enchantingly at him like a queen.

Everyone said women were most confused when they got passionate, but why this made him crazy.

He had never prepared that stuff here. He even wanted to coax her to give him a baby.

She turned over and wrapped the blanket around herself. “Buy one if you don’t have.”

“Where can I buy it in the middle of the night?”

“Twenty-four hour drugstore.”

On the next day, Chloe was seriously late.

She didn’t mean to. It was because of Aoba.

“Aoba Hoyle.” She slapped his arm hard.

Aoba opened his eyes in pain. “Woman, you want to murder your husband again.”

“It’s the middle of the day. You’re dressing like that?” he reminded her with a smile.

He got up and pulled out an outfit from his closet, then threw it at her. “Try it.”

“Why do you have woman’s clothes?” Her clothes had never been left here.

“Don’t give me that suspicious look. I don’t throw away the tag. One day, I was walking around the
street and saw it. I thought it suits you, so I bought it.”

She took a look and found the label, but she couldn’t find the price.

She couldn’t care more, just wore it first.

She returned to downstairs in a hurry. Mrs. Steele saw her rushing in and said, “Hey, you went out? I
thought you were still sleeping, so I didn’t dare to call you.”

She was sleeping, but not at home, in a wolf den.



She took her phone from her room and turned it on. There were indeed several missed calls which
were all from Olive. She took her bag and rushed out, “Mom, I’m going out first. I won’t be back for
lunch.”

When she got downstairs, Aoba poked his head out of his car. “I’ll give you a ride.”

Although she gave him an angry look, she got into his car to save time. Olive’s car was towed to the
repair shop because of the car accident.

When she arrived at the hospital, it was almost noon.

In a glance, Olive saw the unusualness in her body. She opened her collar slightly and looked at the
marks on her neck. She said, “It seemed crazy last night.”

They were all people with experience. They understood.

“Don’t talk about it. I get angry the moment you talk about it.”

“Guess I’m a trigger,” Olive joked.

“You laugh at me too.” Chloe chased her and was about to hit her.

“Alright, alright. We’re both women. I understand.” Olive understood her attitude. “But now probably
isn’t convenient for the old man this time. It needs to be at the afternoon. If I have known that you’re
coming now, I would have asked mom to come with you to bring me food.”

“I don’t know. I thought your Mr. Hoyle would do this for you so we don’t need to trouble mom.”

These days, seeing Alan take care of Olive so well, they had almost formed a kind of stereotype which
was the others didn’t have to worry about Olive’s daily life.



“Mom called early in the morning and I was still sleeping. I asked her she didn’t need to come but she
insisted, so I let her be,” Olive said helplessly.

“Olive, you’re really happy. You have man and parents love you,” Chloe suddenly said emotionally.

“Are you not happy now?” Olive asked with a smile. She actually knew what she was thinking, but
nothing was perfect in life, just didn’t lose the ability to perceive happiness.

Chloe screamed and laughed too, “Compared to those days with the Malan and Lynn, I’m incredibly
happy. So, Olive Steele, you can’t abandon me. You can’t abandon me just because you have a man.”

Olive held her shoulders tightly and rolled her eyes, “Oh, no. Someone is going crazy.”

“Who’s going crazy?” Mrs. Steele walked in from outside with a smile, holding a thermos in her hand.

Olive said, “Mom, quick and pull this madman out.”

“You two children can only make trouble when you’re together. Chloe, why didn’t you say that you
came to see Olive? Seeing you rush out, I thought you had something important.” Mrs. Steele
unscrewed the lid and the smell of home cooked immediately floated around the air.

Olive sniffed hard, “Smells good.”

Chloe said, “I had a very important matter, but I was late and have to wait until the afternoon.”

“Where’s Alan?” Mrs. Steele asked.

“To the company. I told him not to come at noon, saying that my dear mother will come to see me.”
Olive grinned and stretched out her hands for the box, but was caught by her mother with chopsticks.



“You’re already a mother to a child but still not care about hygiene. This is a hospital where there are
many germs, the more you need to wash your hands.”

“Oh.” Like a student just got scolded, Olive obediently washed her hands. When she came out, Chloe
was already sitting at the table and eating.

“Since your man won’t come at noon, I’ll take care of his portion. I’m starving.”

Olive glanced at her ambiguously, then leaned closer to her ear and whispered, “Too much physical
exertion, huh?”

Chloe screamed, “Olive Steele!”

What a blabbermouth. Aoba, you scourge. Let’s see how she would beat him up when she went back.

Olive jumped away and laughed.

Mrs. Steele looked at them strangely, “You two are adults. What are you guys being loud for?”

“Mom, she bullied me,” Chloe complained.

“It’s someone else who has bullied you. It has nothing to do with me,” Olive quickly made it clear.

In the afternoon, they successfully met with Norton. For all afternoon, they listened to the old man
telling stories about the old couple’s acquaintance, encounter, relationship, and loyalty.

What Chloe admired was that under a lot of pressure and obstruction, even in the death of his mother,
it was really not easy for the old man and his wife had survived.

Love was to withstand oppression. And many people due to couldn’t get through of this kind and had
ended up early.



However, thinking about it many years later, you might feel that the experience was thrilling, but in fact,
if you took a closer look, you had already integrated into the most ordinary life.

The highest state of love might not lie in being able to be in passionately, but in being able to hold on to
the plainness.

finished in one afternoon. When leaving the ward, Chloe had given the old man her phone number, so
he could contact her at any time.

“Where are you?”

“Look back.”

She turned back and really saw the kid, who was standing on the crowded street and smiling at her.

“What is it?” Aoba became a little nervous. Her tone sounded a little weird.

Chloe straightened his collar and then pressed herself against his body. She said, “If you treat me
good, I’ll treat you good. I won’t bully you so much anymore in the future. But if you treat me bad, I’ll
repay you ten times fold.”



When she said the first half of her sentence, it was so soft that his bones were melting. It excited him.
But the second half of her sentence was like a basin of cold water pouring on his head.

‘Woman, could you not test me like fire and ice?’

Just behind them, Alan’s car drove slowly into the hospital.

Annie jumped out of the car with her bag on her back, walked to Alan’s side and lifted up her little face.
“Have you really found Dan and her mother?”

Alan squatted down in front of her. “When does dad ever lie to you?”
