Chapter 121: Mommy, I Love You

She put the sleeping chihuahua on the foot beside the bed. Then she took off her coat and lay in bed,
holding her daughter in her arms.

Her whole body was almost collapse. Until now she could relax. She wanted to sleep for a while, then
she had to go to work. She didn’t know why things suddenly got out of control.

She thought after that Christmas party they wouldn’t see each other anymore. He would go back to his
world, and she would live her own life. They wouldn’t be related to each other.

But in the end, they were stuck to each other.

He even said, let her give him a baby.

A sudden thought occurred to her. If he knew Annie, would he be fighting for custody with her? Then
what could she do? Her sleepiness was suddenly gone when this occurred to her.

Annie was woken up by the sound in the paper box. She rubbed her eyes and looked under the bed.
“Wow, it’s a chihuahua.”

She even did not get her clothes on, quickly jumped out of bed and hugged it excitedly.

The chihuahua was obviously excited to see her.

Olive sat up. "Annie, put your clothes on first."

Annie held up the chihuahua. "Mommy, is this a gift from Santa Claus? "

“Yes, but you have to get your clothes on quickly, or you will catch a cold. Then chihuahua will catch a
cold, too. Then it could easily die.”



“I will put my clothes on.” As soon as she heard something bad might happen to the chihuahua, she
quickly took her clothes and put them on.

Olive trained Annie to do this kind of small things on herself very early and systematically to make sure
she wouldn’t be spoiled.

After Annie put on her clothes and shoes, she took Chihuahua to show off. "Grandpa, Grandma, look!
This is a gift from Santa Claus." Then she whispered, "Actually, I know Mommy bought it for me."

Looking at this naught girl, Olive smiled silently.

Mrs. Steele had made breakfast. Olive looked at the time. "Mom, I am not eating. I have to get to work
now."

“You were just back. Now you have to go again?” She said in a worried tone.

“I’m really busy these days. I have no choices.” Olive Steele crouched down in front of Annie. “Annie,
hold the chihuahua. Remember to wash your hands before you eat, do not feed whatever you want to
it, tell grandpa if you want to feed it, okay? Or, it may get sick easily."

“I know.” Annie nodded.

“Say goodbye to mommy.” Olive touched her face.

Annie said loudly. "Mommy, I love you. I love you so much.”

Kids, they were totally cute.

Olive returned to the hotel with the good mood her daughter gave to her. The only thing she could
comfort herself was that she had to face it, no matter it was bad or good. She had no better way except
moving forward.



At ten, Ted brought Casper into her office. Then she just remembered there was one thing left last
night. She was really going to be crazy these days.

After rubbing her forehead, she looked at the tall, thin boy in front of her. She saw his resume. This boy
had been a waiter at the hotel since graduating from high school for three years.

He seemed to be afraid to look her in the eye. "Is there something wrong, Miss Steele? "

“You don’t know?” Olive stared at him.

“I… I really don’t know.” Casper started stuttering and avoid her eyes.

He wasn’t fit to do bad things. His expression could tell all the truth.

“I will give you a chance to admit your mistake, but you only get one chance. If you miss it, there is
really no chance for you again. Tell me your answer before noon.”

As soon as Casper left, Ted asked questioningly. " Olive, how can you be so sure he did it? "

“He has a sick mother in his family, his father can’t do heavy work. And his big brother has a mental
disability, little sister just goes to college. He really needs money.

Ted said in surprise. "How do you know that?"

Olive smiled. "The beautiful woman you saved told me that."

Ted’s face blushed. "Olive, don’t make fun of me. Even if he was poor, that still can’t prove he had done
that. "

Olive said. "I also hope he didn’t. But I am afraid, he will disappoint you."



At noon, Casper came to tell the truth. He looked timid and afraid. "Miss Steele. If I tell you, can you
please don’t fire me? "

He really needed this job. He didn’t get too much education or have any skills. He could get some tip if
he could still work here.

“Sit down.” Olive let him sit, gave him a glass of water and put in front of him.

They sat face to face. Ted stood right next to them.
