Chapter 120: Fighting for Custody

The arms suddenly tightened round her waist, which made she could hardly breathe.

“You know it, but I do not mind telling you again. Be my woman and have babies for me.”

His voice seduced her. Olive lowered her head to look at the floor. But her heart was flipping for him.
She almost wanted to say yes.

“Give me some time to think about it.”

“Don’t play with me.” He could easily see what she was thinking.

Olive smiled softly. "I dare not. Mr. Hoyle can easily get what you want. Don’t have to mention a
woman, you even can get one to your left and one to your right.”

To be honest, it was not because that she didn’t want to be his woman, she just couldn’t convince
herself to share him with another woman.

Alan heard the sarcasm in her words and smiled. "You are jealous."

Realizing this, his gloomy mood was suddenly clear.

Olive's ears were hot, though they were not face to face, she could feel his eyes staring at her from
behind, which made her slightly uncomfortable. "Whatever you say. "

Alan still smiled and suddenly said. “I have never touched Ophelia."

Olive was slightly startled and raised his head involuntarily. Compared to hearing this from others, it
was different to hear this from his mouth.

“But you are getting married, aren’t you?” Olive shook off his hands, picked up her coat on the ground
and put it on. There was a thin mist on her eyelashes, she blinked and it disappeared.



Even if joy was spreading in her heart, but she had to face the reality.

Alan grabbed her by the wrist. "What if I get married with you?"

“Now what, isn’t it enough for you to have a wife?”

“Only you.” Alan watched her sincerely.

Olive paused for a while, then she laughed. "Don’t treat me like a kid. Even if you want, your fiancée
are not going to agree. Even if you persuade her, the Hoyles and Meyers won’t allow you."

“So, please give me some time.” From the beginning to the end, he never thought his marriage was
going to be manipulated by others.

“Well, should not you give me time to think? At least before you finished your own troubles. Am I right?
Just leave me alone. You don’t care, but it does mean I don’t care, either.” Olive said without any
pause, she just wanted to leave the room as soon as possible.

“Alright, but you can’t avoid me anymore.” Alan held on to her wrist tightly, he didn’t let go of her hands
until she was forced to nod helplessly.

Olive could not wait to turn around, but he called her as she walked to the door. "Wait."

He caught up with her in a few steps. He reached out and naturally grasped the belt behind her coat.
He went in front of her and simply made a bowknot on her right side.

“Has anyone ever told you that you look beautiful in this dress?”

“Thank you.” Olive said with a blank expression.

“I hope you will put on that clothes the next time I see you.”



Olive paused. Then she turned around. "The mysterious payer, is that you?"

Alright, except him, there was no one who had so much money to make such a big joke with her. In
fact, she knew from the beginning, but she denied herself all the time.

Alan curved his lips and stared at her with his soft eyes. "You aren’t too stupid.”

“You followed me.” She felt a chill across her back.

“I happened to meet you, believe it or not. But if you do not leave now, I might never let you go again.”

His hot breath sprayed on her back. Olive ran faster than a rabbit, forgetting to take back the
chihuahua, which had been left at the reception. When she remembered it, she had been in the car, so
she had to go back.

Unfortunately, she met Ophelia. Her face suddenly turned pale. She didn’t feel right, it felt like she
cheated with someone and got caught by her.

She was right in front of her. Olive had no way to avoid but gave her a greeting. "Good morning, Miss
Meyer."

“Well, you are so early. It is important to work, but you also should pay attention to your own health."
Ophelia smiled.

Olive felt she had other meaning in her words. Her smile was a fake one. Olive didn’t like talking with
this kind of people. She had to pay attention to them all the time, which made her tired.

“Thank you for reminding me that, I have to go now.” She took the paper box from the reception. She
could feel her stare, which fell on her back and colder than the snow. She just felt that way.



The little chihuahua was sleeping in the paper box. She put her finger on its small nose, its eyes
reluctantly squinted and went back to sleep again. It lived in its own world, didn’t know the outside
world had changed completely.

It was the perfect to stay in the warm bed. Ophelia seemed to get up too early. But that was not as
much shocked as Alan said he just wanted to get married with her.

It was early in the morning, there was few cars on the street. The few tracks of cars could be seen.

Alan’s voice was still ringing around her, which disturbed her mind. She was struggling inside. It felt like
two parts of her were fighting with each other.

It was difficult for her to choose.

If she said yes, the future was still unknown, her fate was unknown.

If she said no, he wouldn’t let her go easily.

So she was struggling inside and went back home. Before she opened the door, she took a deep
breath at the door. Her parents were getting up and Annie was still sleeping sweet.
